You read that right - I am now 6574 days old. ;)

Or, if you prefer using another time unit, I am now precisely 18 years old. And how do I feel? Well, not too different from when I was only 6573 days old...

Other people might say that the best part about turning 18 is getting a licence to drive four-wheeled vehicles with internal combustion engines or being granted legal access to certain mind-altering substances (more if you're one of the evil Dutch :) ). But if you ask me, there's nothing I look forward to more than taking an active part in the political process. (yes, that only means voting... for now 8) )

Happy Birthday Edric, indeed, 18 is the age you can finally vote.

Although that one is unfair, you surely agree with me, because children are more leftist then adult, because they see it as unfair that some people have it better then many others.

Actually, Timenn, I started out as a moderate when I was younger, then grew more and more leftist as I got older and wiser. I call it the Redshift. ;)

oh I see edric, you mean redshift as in:

red: blood, sleaziness, violence, torture, COMMUNISM! HA!

hehe just kidding man.

(also I am aware that the color red largely is a sign of good, nobility, luck, and so on. so dont bother me about it.lol)

Actually, we have adopted red as our colour in rememberance of our fallen comrades - it symbolizes their blood. But I'm sure you already knew that. :)

You have just gained another political illusion. . . thinking that voting really gives a vorm of controle to the people who are casting there votes. . ... .never the less .. enjoy it. . ;)

18 is the true middle age.  Because of the way humans perceive time, when you reach 18 you have, in reality, lived half your life.
