i messed up my face pretty bad.

i came off my bicycle, and apparantly bounced on my face. i also have stitches in my hands and the fattest most bruised knee... i look so UGLY right now! those of you who thought i was ugly anyway will have a field day with this, but its quite impressive as far as injuries go.

Were you wearing a helmet? They are "supposed" to protect you.

Hope you feel well soon. Take lots of ibu.

Ouch it doesn't look good, but on the bright side, at least you are alive and didn't sustain serious (life threatening) injuries. Hope you feel better soon and heal well.

when i was like 10 i was on a trampoline and i was doing flips and stuff, and then i did one while somone else was jumping and i kneed myself in the face and whacked my head on the side lol

and that how i ended up as i am today :D

wow that sucks i have to say, i had injuries in my past too, i bit my tounge in half when i was 5 and around 3 years ago a rocket blew up sending fragments all over the place, i was lucky to my cover my eye with my hand, my hand got 14 stitches, atleast you didnt crack your skull over puncture your eye

Similar thing happened to me. I hit a pothole and shot over the rails of my bike, I scraped my entire chin off, right down to the bone... fortunately I do have a normal chin ;) thanks to modern science... but thanks to the ship's doctor (i was on an Alaskan Cruise when the stitches were removed), who was completely inept, I have half a dozen stiches still residing in my chin. You can actually see the lines where they are :P

that must of hurt alot. i hope you feel better soon. it reminds me of the time that i got my hand caught in a mixer not even 3 months ago...

Ouch, dang, I know that hurts.

All my best prayers for a clean recovery. Keep it clean and use goop, like antiseptic cream, and triple-antibiotic ointment. Facial infections are not fun.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but I'm glad you're okay (for the most part). It could have been worse. Regardless, I wish you a short healing time, and may you have better luck with bicycles in the future. Either that, or get some training wheels! ;)

[edit] And for the record, it's the wound that's ugly - not you.

at least you're not dead. you very easily coulda been; so you should be happy about that

i almost got killed on my bike a couple of years ago. i was riding it on a very high-speed road (almost like a highway) because the place i was coming from didn't have any other exits. all of a sudden my handlebars spun out of control and i almost turned right into a very fast fan that came inches away from splattering my brains all over the road.

how did your accident happen? were you drinking and cycling? was there a crazy driver? what made you come off your bike?

everyone always tells me to use helmets but i never do. guess you shoulda used a helmet in this case. helmets are your friend :)

Sad to here about ure accident Chani,hope u get well very fast.I`ve had similar accident so i know the pain you are going through.

About u beeing "ugly" as u put it(and obviously others)don`t even try using ure time on that.Who are good looking and who are not(Ugly)no one can really tell cause it is the eyes that see that counts.One can be ugly in ones eyes but extreamly beautiful in others eyes ,u get the point sister ;)

Cheer up and just breath,breath in the air(good pink floyd song) and let it clean ure thoughts.Don`t let theses things get to you,you are better than that.Be strong keep the faith and it will go you good in life.

Once more hope u get healed fast sister.
