But it looks cool, better than part 1. When i saw the movie and later read the book i was a bit annoyed by the fact that the movie did many things different than the book described. Also Merin and Peppin look like morons in the movie while in the book they're just normal hobbits, and actually seem to be brighter than Frodo

well i'm TRYING to get my friend to be willing to go see the midnight showing today but he seems very unwilling. :- his excuse was...'But we have school...and i have stuff to do after school.' pfft, i barely get two - three hours of sleep as it is. nothing special for me. and aside from that i was planning on cutting school. it's not fair dammit. i want to see the midnight showing. i've been waiting forever for this. the only problem i have is that i don't have my liscence quite yet so i'd have to get someone to take me there at about 10 30 or something and then someone to pick up at around 3 in the morning or something. which will be very hard.

Im going on Sunday :( I tried to get tickets at midnight, but of course they were sold out. :( It will be incredible though, Helm's Deep will be a good 45 min. :)

I ddin'tliekt he books, and only thought the first filmw as average, so I was plannin on waiting until it came out on DVD, but I jsut got messaged by one of my friends and he wants to go Friday (my first day back home), so, if mroe than him want to go,I'll go ith them friday, if not, DVD.

Yeah Merin and Peppin are not morons but Jackson made them look that way, also he took out all the fun from Sam.

It's a movie. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It's based on a book written sometime in the mid-1900's by J. R. R. Tolkien, and was once heralded as the second most popular book series following the Holy Bible.

Your mission: should you choose to accept it: Go to your local video rental store, rent The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, DVD or VHS, whichever your fancy, take it home and watch it.

After your epiphany ( ;) ), go to your local movie theater and buy a ticket for the Two Towers. Watch it.
