Your post count should be updated now ex, btw you have 530 posts in the Dungeon that I didn't count.

There seem to have been a lot of these spam topics around of late... Or maybe I'm just noticing them more.

Or maybe it's because people keep replying to them. *cough* Mentioning no names.

Yes, I was trying to link it to the RSS feed for this site but it keeps going wrong!

The spam topics are the most interesting topics there are! (outside of PRP anyway). They can develop into anything!

Forum software question.

Let's say someone spams Duniverse board. Someone reports post. Is it possible to have it send a PM to fed2k inbox instead of email?

Might be better option for some mods, and less emails sent. I don't check my listed email address more than once a month.

His posts look fine and on topic, but since he is new (today and made lots of posts) and automatically has a link in signature to a website selling stuff...

EDIT:

I gave the 'What hardware are you going to buy in 2010' thread a quick skim, and I've picked out the post's he/she/it's copied. Their first post in the thread copied your first post in the thread, Andrew, and the second copied the OP. I'm not sure about the rest of their posts.

Edric since you might be online, in "Other Dune Games" section, there is a spammer.

I reported to mods as well.

The hilarious part is that the links don't work because they mistakenly added extra http etc.

Don't be so harsh on the poor smapbot. Its existence is completely devoid of joy, and it is destined to be hated and despised everywhere. Even its creators did not care to make the spambot attractive and pleasing, less devoid of any flaws. The life of a spambot is that of perpetual lie and deception, and ultimate misery.
