I agree with Ferris Beuller's Day Off ("anyone? ...Beuller? ...Beuller? ...Anyone?") and Canadian Bacon.

Classic comedies for me would definately include good old Monty Python. Namely, the Quest for the Holy Grail, and the Life of Brian.

I feel old when FerriS Beuler is "Classic". Here I thought we were talking things like "The Aweful Truth", "His Girl Friday", and "Some Like it Hot"!

But if we're considering 70's-'80's as "classic", then...

Better Off Dead

Real Genius

GhostBusters!

Python... any Python, but we're quoting Holy Grail a lot lately...

Raising Arizona

Classic comedies huh.. well, I can name several, but looking at my DVD collection, I'd say:

Fawelty towers.

Blackadder.

Monty python movies.

Most movies with Chevy Chase (National Lampoon's vacation series Fletch, caddyshack and others).

Most movies with Steve Martin (Blue lagoon, Sgt. Bilko and others).

Other classics: "brewster's millions", "heaven can wait", "spaceballs"..

Python, of course... Blackadder, One foot in the Grave,

Only Fools and Horses, Porridge is excellent, Fawlty Towers is ok, Keeping up Appearances is good, too.

(all British, for any non-brits who have no Idea what I'm on about)

Dont forget about Airplane 1 & 2! And also Robinhood: Men in Tights.

Robinhood: Men in Tights is one of the funniest mel brooks movies i have ever seen!!! (along with spaceballs)

i also liked Airplane 1 ... not so much 2(same thing with a little different story)... found it too boring...

Keeping up Appearances is still being played on tv here in Holland and I'm loving it :)
