I think we already know what's going to happen in the Final Dune, why else would they do Butlerian Jihad? I hope there won't be more than maximum 20 Dune books, because Star Wars have at least 30-40 something, it's too messy. For example: In one book, it says "Mr Hister" is the Emperor's son, but in the next, "Mr Hister" is the Emperor's nephew, and so on. Recently, in the last book, the force has no dark or light side, it's just the creatures in the galaxy that categorized them under these two. The reason for this is that there are multiple writers, and because most books are sequels to the books before them, they get a free chance of shaping the galaxy. Okay, so maybe there can be more Dune books, but not after Final Dune, only during the Dune Saga. That's my opinion.

I also would hate to see more then 20 books being made. I always wondered what happened in the BJ, but I hope they'll write Dune 7 soon.

Star Wars contains about 30 books for now, the one after Return of the Jedi is "Truce at Bakura", it happens the day after RotJ. I can post the whole Star Wars Timeline of books if you like.
