West Virginia, in the United States.  I live two hours from the Capitol, D.C.  If you dunno where that is, try looking on the Atlantic Ocean border.

And we are a seperate state, whenever I meet someone out of state and they ask where I am from and I say west Virginia they ask me "What part of Western Virginia?"  We have been a seperate state since the civil war in the 1800s.
