    Additional Info » On the fringes of the "known" regions of Arrakis, where only the Fremen are native, is an area known only as "The Southern Region". The Harkonen have never been able to maintain an outpost there for very long. And due to its fridgid temperatures Shai'halud only skirts the edges. Hence no Major houses have a true interest here because of lower spice concentrations. Fremen legends speak of the "fountain of melange" found only in the southern regions. Perhaps there is such a place, and if you can find it. And hold it would prove useful to the capture of such an un-charted and vast region. Happy Hunting!

    Additional Info » Spies came in possession of the secret "ix files". This document reveils a plot between the atreides, ix and fremen to combine their forces on future battles. A highliner will transport your mcv to caladan. Destroy and/or persuade the fremen and ix before the combined troops land on arrakis. The "X zone" is accessable by all units from 8 directions and contains the most valuable neutral buildings.

    Additional Info » Dune... Desert Planet. The deep desert is where this battle takes place. The land surrounding a once toxic Nuclear Waste Facility is all but reduced to sand now. The sand is the only place to build, however, worms are still a factor. And they are focused primarily on Harvesters. The more players, the better. A true test to a strong, secure base.

    Additional Info » It's a story about abandoned Harkonnen base. Spice fields are very pure. Map is created for two players. Multiplayer option is the best.It is specially dedicated for "Ordos" and "Atreides"(APC). Player must be very creative and fast.It's a few crafty ways to victory. Good luck.

    Additional Info » Each of the 8 buildable areas have an extra fortress wall infantry passage to the spice fields. The northern and southern part are seperated by infantry rock but vehicles can traverse via the 2 central areas. Our spies even detected an airbase in the desert area?

    Additional Info » Good evening commander. Our scouts have found evidence of an underground facility at Glossu Rabban's abandoned northern hunting preserve. The former governor had two of these hunting preserve on Arrakis and this is the first. He built the preserve within the northern worm line, so their will no spice mining on this mission. The northern preserve was never completed, but we believe the underground facility was completed for an unknown purpose. Your mission is to secure this area before the enemy takes control. Destroy any building within one of the eight slave camp to make room for you base. Once the preserve is in our hands, we can explore the underground base. Good luck commander.

    Additional Info » Good evening commander. Here is your assignment. A few days ago, our forces started a base in this sector of Arrakis. Red Wind Pass is located near the worm line just north of the False Wall-E. Unfortunately, the base was destroyed with the cargo ship. Our satellites show that the cargo ship is still burning on the desert of Arrakis even now. Your mission is to start another base here and rid the enemy from this area. Try to located as many supplies from the crashed cargo ship as you can before the enemy does. The supplies will help you produce more money fast. Good luck, commander.

    Additional Info » Large Arrakis map for four on the north pole of Arrakis. It's pretty cold but cause no one has harvested here before, there's still a lot of spice to collect. All players start on the same circular cliff and can either expand their base to enemy area or just take the middle highground and kill the enemy harvestors. The long bridge holds a secret passage...

The enemy has discovered a gap in the planetary defenses; However, before the defense gap was fixed, a large enemy force was discovered on Caladan. Their first target is a small fishing village on the Southern Continent. If they take control of this village, the enemy hopes to introduce nuclear waste into the ocean. Stop their plan by stopping the enemy at Retha. Complete this mission commander and you will have saved the village and the economy of Caladan.

    Additional Info » An opportunity has arisen on the dark toxic wastelands of Giedi Prime. Rebels have contacted our agents with the hopes of forming an alliance with us. For many years, the rebels have been growing more popular with each successful raid and have managed to destabilize the current oppressive government. They have promised a percentage in the rich industrial profits if we help them take Giedi Prime. We have accepted their offer. You have been assigned to secure the Saratov Slave Pit mines between Harko City and Mount Ebony. Once this region is in our hands, we will establish a landing field and begin pouring in men and material to the rebels. This is a critical mission commander which is why we have entrusted this assignment to you. Good Luck.

    Additional Info » This area is a huge maze with 51 bridges and 19 buildable areas. On the map edges there is a "highliner infantry zone" with bridges that only can be accessed by infantry. The other parts can be accessed by all units. There are several harkonen neutral buildings that can be captured. Only spiderman can find his way on this Giedi Prime map.

I've set up little infantry points beside the spice mainly to keep and eye on the harvester...and this is my first map... so I'm gonna kinda call it a test... Oh yea you cant miss the fights that goes on in the middle of the map where all the spice is... =)

    Additional Info » Greetings stradegist. The Feyd-Rutha has proposed a challenge to six strategists, you're one of them. Please ensure that you set a postitve example for House Ordos. FALIURE IS NOT AN OPTION! NOTE: There seems to be a newly discovered problem with the dune map editor. When one creates a Giedi Prime map, they have to use the shadow maker to do a giedi Script. It then takes forever to do this script (for a large Geidi Prime map). Even though it shows that the shadow is successful (when you put it on "show me at the end" mode), you go into the game and see that there is a shadow to the buildings of the map, but, the buildings are still bright white and the ground colour is dark blue. This means it has only done it halfway. I would not expect Dune2k.com to fix this problem so as the first creator of a Giedi - Prime out of all fan - made maps, I can tell you how to fix this problem: 1. open your map editor folder. 2. Go to DataLighting 3. Scroll down and you will see a file called: geidiprimetest.lit. 4. Right click on it and select "copy". (Or press Ctrl+C on the keyboard) 5. Go to your EmperorDataMaps\"Your Geidi Prime Map folder". 6. Right click in an empty space of that folder and select "Paste". (Or press Ctrl+V on the keyboard) 7. Rename "geidiprimetest.lit" to "Test.lit." You're done!

    Additional Info » So here is one of my first map. i hope it will wok as well for you, like we played it in LAN games. If you play with AI, so set all of them to "attack", and maybe som theilaxu sub-houses.... It will be a very fast and funny game. have fun, and ROCK ON.
