I would think if any house was removed it would be Ordos.To remove Atreides would be sacreligious any new additions tho should be true to the story I agree with the previous comments.If anything would be possible I would think the guild would be integrated in the game more thoroughly,IE.ships navigablle,buying logistical favors,guild is responsilble for delivering starport stuff right? how about dropping off 20-30 ground troops or multiple armoured units in areas other than starport? that would become a great equallizer as long as the spice flowed! :O

Well now here's my 2$ (inflation).It's all about alliance. There is no best unit as has been said,they all have their strengths and weaknesses,but when combined that's when you see the power of the sum of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.

It's a REAL good read and is developed to a point where the story becomes so compelling that ...I can guarantee if you like sci-fi you won't be able to stop at dune (but you could its complete in and of itself.) Any parallels between spice and oil? Oh,ya. lots of em and the more time goes by the more I wonder.

;)Well went in and removed my copy of map then proceeded to download map from archive.It works online now.Sent in no.2 still can't seem to use mappacker (the map doesn't show up) but zip works.Keep your eys open for "Southern Regions".Thanks for all your help! ;D

Well no I'm on different sides of the state , but we both downloaded pillars and played the other nite no prob ...so i'm deleting my map on my end and going to try to download it from archive. we'll see what happens.

But can we play those that are uploaded to Map archive at Fed? We just want to play 'em

What's the deal now? We can't play "homemade" maps online if we send them to someone?...What if they are downloaded from the download site?(that is this emperor map site) Are there any generic host sites out there that would support westwood style games.? This just doesn't make sense to me.

They should be installed in the "westwood/emperor/data" folder I believe.And if they are the .rfd files they should show up.check in explorer to see they are actually there also there is a readme w/ maps I think. GL

???How can we play on westwood ? you mean if we have maps we can'y play on their site?I just tried a new map with my buddy and it's telling me he doesn't have it and he does ??? ???

I would like to submit map to share but when i open MapPacker and ask it to pack ,I seems to take aliitle while doing something but ,then when I try to open Cmaps to find file to send to Gob. there is nothing there.Game plays, no errors,do Ihave to restart my system?I downloaded MapPacker- installed it and immediately tryed to send map.It ain't happenin any help?
