Actually Acriku would be good for the position. He posts more then anyone else (obviously), and is intelligent. So if you do want an actual moderator for the board Acriku would be the most judicious choice. I agree with Nema's view of Edric and Emprworm's moderator consideration aswell.

Give emprworm and edrico (if they want) an oportunity to moderate that forum. Let's say 2 weeks after that other moderators can review their performance.

As for the poll, I have no comment at this time. I'm still trying to find my way around all those new boards that went up in the last week.

Next time I go away for a weekend I'll probably come back to a decleration of Edric, Shaddam, and Emprworms upcoming nuptuails, to each other!

Let's look at this objectively. It becomes obvious that the last thing you should do is give either me or Emprworm Mod power in a board regarding an issue that we feel so strongly about.

I agree with that completely. If either you or emprworm were moderators of a new religion/politics board, it would be completely biased, and topics would probably get locked due to one person not liking the opinion of the other, etc etc. ::)

I don't think there is really anyone who is unbiased when it comes to those two topics.

So how would the moderator system work for (a) proposed new politics/religion board(s)? It would certaintly need moderating, unless everone can keep to civilized discussion and not get into flame wars, arguments, etc, but if no one is unbiased when it comes to these two topics, how would it be moderated properly? ???

How about Emprworm, Edric O *and* Acriku?

All three are active posters on those threads, and between them they represent a majority of the views presented in those threads.

It would be a start at least, and the new board could be instated straight away.

Not that I would ever get involved it it though... :- Sensitive, imflammatory subjects that they are, they'd take up too much of my time. :)

yeah, they are. i voted for one new board for the two of them. general is getting filled up with to many topics of debates. it will take quite some time to move them all though.

I am prety much un biased. I rarely if ever post on a religion or politcial thread....
