Seriouisly people, what reason can there be to swear ? If you cannot explain your feelings in normals ways then perhaps they shouldnt be explained.

It isn't only for PRP - it's also in FF, for RPs or stories.

Bring back the f-word! bring back the f-word! :D

There shouldn't be any restriction, or even warning.

We're older, and more mature than the average message board, and with that comes the decency of free expression.

Further more, I've been here I'm going to say three years or so, and it's never been a serious issue, so why address something that's not a problem?

If a post was full of swearing anyways, it'd be promptly deleted much the same way a flaming post would share the same fate.

This needs to go. I don't know about you, but I feel like I'm being Patriot-Acted.

That actually tells more about the forums you visit then it does about message boards ;)

Swearing isn't necessary, but it is used to make a point. And it can be very annoying to have your frustration casually swept aside and replaced with a patronising phrase. But my real problem is with its impact on Fanfiction. Some of us write about characters who just wouldn't use the word 'dashing,' would you believe. Besides which, it's an uncomfortable and ugly break in reading to suddenly come across a phrase like 'intelligent forum member' in place of a single word.

Not that there aren't ways around it, but that would be... unwise.

That doesn't solve the problems in Fanfiction.

If we're going to just keep going through the autocorrect then there are better ways. E.g. 'retard.'

Hey guys, take a look at the new site design and let me know what colors we should use for the different house skins. I already have a blue(default) and red(harkonnen) skin done but those can change. Hex codes are best, see the CSS for what it is currently using.

I think the old colors suited the site quite well. I didnt like the Tleilaxu color scheme because it was dark and sickly(And I know it is supposed to be so) but it was really ugly. Perhaps something... fresher?

Oh and Gob, would it be possible to make the search function accept requests to search certain forums for any and all posts by one user? Because see, I want to just see how some users have changed over time, but I don't want to spend days searching through one forums, looking for all of their posts.  :D And the search function won't allow me to search for anything without putting in a search term.

Well we are going to have the same colors, its just some of the secondary skins don't look that great so I wanted to get some input on good combinations.

As for post searching, the easiest way is to goto their profile and click the view posts link. Although that doesn't give you it broken down per board.

That's what I'm afraid of, since the said person has thousands of posts. :D

Didn't happen to me, when I clicked new.

It might have something to do with Nema splitting the topic. The reason it directs to the first post is because the link is wrong. The link directs to a much lower reply number than the the number of the original post.

Just a suggestion, but perhaps we should have a verification code that you have to put in to register.  Its just that we've just had another "person" sign up to advertise/spread viruses.
