Gob, what about some "spoiler" function, in order to avoid huge walls of text or too many pictures? A "spoiler" tab appears in the post and if you click it it will open its contents.

nice idea...

That would help me a lot. I have many tldr topics. It might let people read again.

Edit: Why post 3 times?

Wow, it's been awhile! A question about the Emperor mods you used to host, Gob - they aren't in the Downloads section of the forum, and I couldn't seem to find a thread that said they had been deleted. I don't suppose you have them squirrelled away somewhere?

Server went wonky this morning. Rebooting seems to have fixed the problem.

it was there from yesterday here in plus 5:30GMT... I thought you guys went for an unscheduled shutdown...

I added them to the downloads section, not sure how they got removed:

I haven't filtered the files so that might have more than just Emperor mods.

Not right now but I think it might be possible, I'll look into it when I get the chance.

I've just upgraded the forum software to the latest version. I think the big thing they've worked on in this release are bugs with the post editor. If you have any problems be sure to first clear your cache.

I am talking to the hosting company about moving our MySQL server to the same data center as the web server. It looks to be the cause of some of the errors we've been having.

Nyerguds can you post an example url inside a [ code ] block so I have an example? Thanks.

About a week or two ago they moved the web server to their new data center and that was when the problems started. Now that the database server has been moved as well it should go back to normal. Hopefully. :)
