What is the best game of all time

I'd say x-com an old MS-Dos game. but i can still go back to it even right now and have fun.

what do you guys think?

download.com said that pacman was the best game of century, there was also civ 2 near top adn i think mario brothers was up there also.

Well. i guess it depends on who you ask. ;D

Anyway. i'm talking about what game You think is. Honestly. i'm an older gamer. since nintindo. and i think x-com. i'm not the only one either! i'm not kiding you. there has been someone that worked on an editer for it. and keept on improveing it. and to this day is still working on it. :O I can go back even right now and have fun on it.(Note i have a collecters edition disc so i don't have a real old computer or anything) You take turns on it between you and the aliens. and shoot down there UFO's

Second i'd say Space Quest 5. another Ms-dos game.

Anyway. Pick not according to what anyone says. but according to what you think. if your haveing troable picking name them all! ;)

Its about as old as Civ(the first one). which is about Eight years ago... They don't make games like they use to. :P

Go to http://www.xcomufo.com/ then click "download" at the top of the screen bar. "xcom UFO defence" right beside "terror from the deep" and download it for free! Before you go to telling me its copyrighted.(if you care about that) the auther himself said he'd rather it along with the source code be free. but Hasbro bought Microprose. a shame. the best game of all time... :O >:( >:(

Anyway, its complcated at first. untill you get the hang of it. if you have any questions you know where to find me! ;)

The battles are awsome. once you get in them! makes me wanna play it now!

The most fun I had was with Duke nuke'm 3d and Serious Sam: 2nd encounter (especially in LAN play with 10 other people :))

Best game concerning playability is Transport Tycoon (DeLuxe) IMO (came to the decission after TMA's post :)).

well yeah, there are multiple x-coms... they're all pretty old, and even though i didn't realy play em much, they got a lot of positive reviews

So far, no game has the title of "Best game ever" for me, simply because I have always been able to flaw the games I play, one way or another. I am still waiting for the day when a game emerges that will be flawless in all respects. I'm very picky and particular, when it comes to my games. :)

well sure, it also depends on the "season" you are in :)

like one time you say.. EMPEROR is best, and a few months later you say Warcraft III is best... it changes from time to time, even though to me Starcraft has been number 1 decisively after i got it 1 year.
