Well this isn't the front pages of the New Yorker, this is a discussion. It was said she sang it, on metalhammer.co.uk so I think it's more probably than not.

Please. Her songs are just as "pop" as Britney Speares, she just "acts punk" in her videos.

Really? usually it's the lovers of other music who pretend to like the backstreet bandwagon so that they can fit in... That's how their rubbish got so popular in the first place... and now, we see bandwagon bands making their own copies of the original backstreet song... sad...

Personally, I currently enjoy classic far more than most music

I used to like rap for a little while, but rap quickly became repetitious and the ''whites stay out'' atmoshpere didn't help either:D

hehe same here, i used to love rap(dont mind it now except eminem) but now i enjoy neil young much more.

hmmmmm, a friend told me recently that she has won several awards at the 3 MTV events (US, Latinamerica and Asia), I wonder if I am not loosing my taste in music, because I still don't like her pop.

well listen, obviously people like her. She is making a ton of money. This doesnt reflect as much that Avirl has bad taste, it reflects that american teens in general have the bad taste.lol Dont watch Mtv people! it isnt music anymore, just teeny shows that aid in making you feel cool and raising your labido. The music doesnt mean anything on their show. Music should be experianced, not exploited. People who watch Mtv have fallen into the trap of fake music exploitation. In my opinion anyways. And no I havent watched TV since 96. Seriously.lol
