Some of the characters in Gob's Grief are extraordinarily compelling creations, particularly the Urfeist, and Pickie Beecher.

I know this sounds a bit strange, but I remember a time when Gob was a 54(?) year old chain smoking woman and Mahdi was cleaning her garage for a few bucks, the time Gob got married, broke and died due to something I cant even remember. Did I mention the day Gob got homeless and had to live in a local church because something had destroyed Gob's house ?. . ]
