Today (May 9) is Victory Day - 65 years since the end of WW2. It used to be a big holiday across the Soviet Union and many parts of Eastern Europe, and it is still a big holiday in Russia and some other ex-Soviet states.

So there is no better music for today than a heavy metal song about the Battle of Berlin! :)

Attero dominatus!

Berlin is burning

Denique interimo!

The Reich has fallen.

I don't know actually. The song is playing on my flatmate's computer and although he got it from me I can't recall the artist and track title. It's some oldschool trance from the early to mid 90s. It's smooth and soft while being pushing forward at the same time. Great if you work late like we do right now ;D

Broken Bells by Broken Bells over and over again (I'm in a cafe). It has Danger Mouse, so it's not bad (I actually kind of like the music, a little bit) but it's becoming annoying.

Recently I've been listening to a lot of comedy: Shaffer the Darklord, John R. Butler, and The Lonely Island. I think it's a response to the inherent depression involved in applying for jobs and finishing up my thesis.
