Got Neverwinter Nights 2 just over a week ago. Been playing it on and off ever since. Have to say I'm actually quite disappointed. It's stil a good game, but not as groundbreaking as I'd hoped. As Oblivion was to Morrowind, I think Neverwinter 2 is inferior to its predecessor.

I'm at 20% in nfs carbon career mode now. so far I like the game. the wingman stuff is quite funny, the city looks nice and the canyon sprint or especially boss races are exciting.

I didn't like it. I stopped playing after a few hours. the concept is rather good but the realisation could have been far better than it turned out in the end.

I'm not sure if it's a new game per se, but I was recently introduced to Portal, which a friend of ours obtained via the Orange Box. For such a simple game, it really is quite impressive.

Assassin Creed should come out early next year, 25th of Feb for the PC. It

is out already for the XBox though (release date was 27th of Nov).

It's out on the Xbox and I have been told that what you see there is actually how the

game looks.

Unfortunately it's not multiplayer, but an awesome single player.

I really enjoyed Renegade, and although I don't play online, the C&C mode sounds pretty fun.  I was surprised by the brighter graphics it had, as opposed to all the dim, dismal shooters of the time.

Does anyone know of any FPS-RPG games like system shock 2? I know I've asked this many times, but the only reply I get is "What about Deus ex 2?"

A quick search of Google returns this.  No idea how good it is, mind you.  My only other suggestion would be Oblivion, but then that's not really a First Person Shooter.

I know its old now, but I can now play Doom 3 on all highest setts so I just re-installed it. totally new game with those setts. I think I had a Geforce 5500 last time I played it on low setts. Also like Soldier of Fortune still. Just waiting on the new Doom game.

Seems an update wouldbe appropiate :P

Aion - Anyone going to play this ? Release date is coming Firday I think.

Stories I heared so far is that it's very similair to World of Warcraft, though with better graphics. I ordered the collectors edition.

Start Wars: The Old Republic - Not sure on the release date, but great anticipation from the community.

Seems like a game that will be played by lots.

Diablo 3 - No release date as of yet, but obviously has a large fan base. Blizzard knowing, it'll be a great hit.

Startcraft 2 - No release date yet either. However, the same as for Diablo 3, large fan base.

I'll try and update a bit more later :)
