Additional Info » This is a large eight player Draconis map, with plenty of space to build on each of the eight ice platforms off to the sides. There is only one way into each of the separate areas for ground units, some areas are marginally harder to access than others. All ground units must enter the central area to access enemy bases, unless they are being transported via Advanced Carryalls. In the centre you will find various Ordos installations, don't expect them to last very long as battles rage among them. If you do plan on taking one or more of these structures for your own use, you had better be prepared to defend them against attacks from all directions.

Additional Info » Small Arrakis map with... tada... only one base rock, but its not connected all the way. Anyway you can extend your base to enemy base later in game and have intense turret fight or you can just march to spice and then attack with your troops from your enemy's backdoor. By the way unlike my previous maps, I added AI zones for this one so it is can be played skirmish too.

Additional Info » Two bases are essentially side by side, but the only way by land to the enemy base is through a corridor right between the two bases that runs parallel. This means there will be artillery along the canyon walls, and getting any form of units through will prove very difficult.

For many years, this outpost of civilization served as a sanctuary for travelers of the Habbanya Erg desert. By controlling this outpost, we can begin to harvest spice in the Erg and explore the surrounding desert wastelands. Every house knows of the outpost so expect them to be in the area. This is an important assignment commander, if you fail it will set back our plans on Arrakis. Good luck!

Additional Info » After giving much consideration to the subject i came to the conclusion that this map will still be mostly ground warfare based. Westwood made ground units more effective at anti-air than the meager air units they included. So on this map the most important unit will be the advanced carryall. Players would have 2 options. Try and get loads of units in the centre, or get AA units in between the spice field an the enemy base early on. If a full 8 players are playing i would advise them to ally with their nearest neighbour. One last thing -> in this map the Atreides has an advantage...

Additional Info » Greetings commander. A Spacing Guild ambassador has come to us with a serious problem. It seems that one of their ships was hijacked a few days ago and taken to The Great Flat desert region on Arrakis. The hijackers are in the process of dismantling the ship with the purpose of learning the secret of folding space and finding where is the Guild homeworld, Tupile, is located. The Guild trusts our house enough to give us the mission to secure this territory of Arrakis and destroy the hijackers. This is a very important operation command, so failure is not an option.

Additional Info » I changed how units interact with canyons and pits. In this maps your units WILL fall into the pits and canyons and must climb their way out while the enemy units can fire at the units trying to climb out. Changes the game quite a bit so be warned when your playing, Also the Statues and Forts you see can be climbed by infantry to give them a height advantage. Thought I would mention these additions for anyone looking for something new.

Additional Info » This is the first map I ever created for any game. The map is a large map for four players. I deliberately designed the map to force players to be efficient in the construction of their bases. This map is also a good map to utilize dust bowls and infantry rock/cover to their fullest benefit. I tried to make the map as interesting as possible, while still offering good performance to people with lower end computers. The four rock plateaus at each corner of the map vary in how difficult they are to defend, so exploit terrain features when you can. Expect the AI to be a bitch. :)
