Super, lol.

Funny story, but I would agree with the possibility that they are trying to hit on you. I have heard some strange stories about backward English cops, but none quite like that :P

Hehe. I can beat that. A helicopter spent 10 minutes hovering about over where I live. They didn't get me, though. There were also 6 police cars around town.

There aren't even 3 police cars stationed in the entire county, and I'm 10 minute's walk from a fairly high security prison.

I have a friend who thinks (jokingly, I hope) I'm a terrorist... but they weren't after me. So I'm told.

Curiously, this was also on Saturday night. I was trying to get to sleep.

@Chani

Why don't you dress in that outfit again and get someone to photograph you wearing it and add it to the post attachments. That way we can really see what those dumb coppers were really thinking about.

some goths are spooky and ugly :P and have like super white skin and chicken legs :P but the soccer chics at my school are hot ;D ;)

:P

BTW I have a knee length trenchcoat and want to get an ankle length one but its for airsoft, going for the whole matrix look. ???

I wish I had a black tenchcoat... with a small hammer & sickle logo on the left side of the chest. ;)

Add black sunglasses and a suspicious-looking black suitcase and you're guaranteed to cause widespread panic. ;D

About Edric's want of that coat...I'm sorry...we have a thing called the Patriot Act, I'd be shot dead most likely wearing that.

As for my Police encounter. Prom Night, a Saturday. I got pulled over for a random test of my breathe and senses to see I wasn't drunk. I passed the tests, they apologized and said they did it to almost every teen driving through that night, and told me to leave and not call any drunk friends about them hiding in the bank drive thru.

When I went to Canada I DID NOT set the beepy detector machine off but they still made me go back three times to put my wallet, shoes, and coat through the other machine. When I STILL didn't set anything off they frisked me. What, do I just happen to look suspicious or something? Are my shoes evil terrorist-shoes? It happened in Gatwick as well, nutters...

Yeah! Matrix-look! Except Neo's coat, not Trinity's. Hers was too shiney. :)

I was standing at a bus stop in a village near me, to go into town for the evening.

They pulled over and asked what I was doing.. and I was like, "..............errr..... waiting for a bus!" and they offered me a lift to the end of the road (it's a VERY long road) and when I got in they said they had driven over because they thought I was a vampire.

I was wearing a long black coat, short black skirt, birght pink fishnet tights, big boots.. and I guess my black eyemakeup, bright red hair and black/red lipstick may have given them the idea, but still!!!

I have never ever been in trouble with the police for anything and I think it's bad that they stop to tell me off cos I wear black.

However it is quite cool when they give you a free ride for being different.

What is strange on this? Both of my sisters mask themselves like this too ;D

I'm not very hype of Goths either.

But it's all about taste and I respect that. People should wear what they want.

BUT... they seem to dress for OTHERS not for theirselves. Why do we wear clothes? To feel comfortable, to trap or release the temperature of our bodies and to cover our nacked bodies.

But some Goths (maybe all) seem to wear their freaky outfits just to look different and because it's 'cool'. That's poor, really poor.

If they feel compfy with tons of paint on their face - fine with me!

But if they do it to be 'cool' then I think they're being, the other way around, really lame.

I also don't the way of life for some Goths - life sucks, we're never meant to be happy, we will never be happy, we all die in terrible misery and agony.

That's just LAME! It's up to THEM to make their lives better, not to deepen their misery.

Anyway, rant over.

I respect people who wear Gothic clothes because it's compfy or because they like to hang out with friends like that.

But I do not respect people who think that wearing spikes and uncompfy clothes is 'cool' and that life is miserable and lonely.

By the way - being a Goth doesn't mean that the Darkness is Your friend. ;)

Trenchcoates are great, imo. The type Neo in The Matrix wears is what I like best.

However, I don't wear any, nor do I have any.

But it would be nice to have one when I get older.

The outfit does sound a little... odd.

"I wish I had a black tenchcoat..."

I have a large black coat, often called a trenchcoat, though I don't think it quite fits the spec. I wear it most of the time. I wear black or dark blue most of the time. It's easiest if you're colourblind.

"and have like super white skin and chicken legs"

I have incredibly pale skin and am very thin... so? (Yes, people do ask me if I'm ill)

I was once sharing a stage with a group who were doing a play with vampires in it. They critisiced me for wearing too much white make-up. Not only was I not part of their group, I wasn't wearing any make-up at all. ;D

You're not alone, Nema. :)

It'll be my guess that you're tall, Nema?

Trenchcoats (not like those old agent trenchcoates, but more like the ones I've specified above) fits neatly on tall persons.

Being thin does only improve the look.

I am both tall and thin, but have no trenchcoat.

I was talking about the wannabe goth girls at my school . . . people dont like seeing girls in short skirts or shorts with hideously thin white legs . . .its horid. . . :P
