Gobalopper
I don't want to discourage people from making landscapes but could you guys maybe find another server to place them on? They will fill up the download folder fairly quickly at this rate.

Vanguard3000
Personally, I use Rhino3D. I made a pretty good Mechwarrior-style mech. The background uses a similar greyscale -> landscape process, except it's skinned. I even used Lynch's Arrakis as a background moon! ;)
Edric O
Here's my best pic for today:Ragnarrok"There's something rotten in Asgard..."P.S. Gob, as you can see, I'm deleting the old attachments as I go along. :)[attachment archived by Gobalopper]
Dunenewt
Wow! That green moon is great! What is Asgard? Do you mean Isengard of LOTR?
Edric O
Lol, no. Asgard is the land of the Norse gods. And Ragnarrok is the Norse end of the world. :)I just thought the whole landscape has a Norse feel to it... it's a fjord with snowy mountains on the sides, after all. The_Sadukar
Ragnarrok means something like 'the fate of the gods'
VigilVirus
This is one that I just made. The thing I like about it is that it looks like you are standing on that hill looking down on the surface of the lake.[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

pointybum
I think you guys should checkout 3dna - its a virtual desktop where you roam about in 3d as if you are in a flash pad. The best part of it is when you are outside with your chosen skybox - some of them are absolutely amazing.I tried to upload my virtual pad to show you guys but a 159kb file is clearly too big... Acriku
159 kb shouldn't be a problem uploading it to a different web hosting service, like geocities.com? It sounds lovely, perhaps a link please? :)
