I hope these icons aren't permament, for they are awful... I can hardly tell the difference between a "hot topic" and a "normal" one, and I can hardly see which threads I posted in, and which ones not.

Maybe this is because I'm viewing the forum right now at an old UNIX terminal, but the forum should be viewable also with lower color settings.

And what was wrong with the old ones?

Seconded.

I think the colors need to contrast each other A LOT more.

There also needs to be a legend as to what each icon is. Becuase it is hard to figure out. :-X

Grr...I just lost a huge post because:

Which has never happened to me before, even when I wrote longer posts than that.

I remember getting this message, even if I didnt time out. Like I would just write a message like this one and it would take no longer than a minute adn then I would have to write it all again.

So I got in the habit of copy and pasting my messsages just in case I got a mysterious time out for no reason.

I get this message when I try to send a IM:

I think that was because Gob updated the IM system. Notice how the "replied" icons have returned...

then account settings on the left side, and change the

Name:
This is the displayed name that people will see.

to whatever you want
