Whats the best to have? 30 Sadukars or 30 Fremen or 30 Contaminators??????? ::) ::) ::)

Well, that would depend on what you were facing. A mix of regular and elite Sardaukar can handle most things, and so can the Fremen if feydakin are included. Thirty Contaminators... umm, I can't quite see a use for that, sorry... that's just me.

contaminators can work.. but so many is not usefull.. 10 is enough.

i think i'll prefer 30 sardaukar

If oyu mean just reguala rSardaukar, Fremen Warriors, and Contams, it would obviosly be Sardaukar.

Yes, definately Sardaukar. I can't even think of much use of having so many fremen snipers or so many contaminators - they don't even do practically any damage to vehicles or buildings.

umm... if they were facing eachother, the 30 sardaukar, if not, 30 fremen fedaykin.

I think he meant regular Fremen. Then, it would HAVE to be Sardies.

The contaminators are very usefull in infantry wars. They multiply very fast when you attack with 30 at once. I have used them often on WOL infantry battles and always some managed to come close and kill the other units. Do not say it is impossible when you have never tried it! Sards are the most usefull in any fight.

30 Contamminators are good only against short range troops like chemical trooper,light infantry,flamer

no, they are utterly useless in every situation, 30 contaminators are no match against some fremen snipers/mortar infantry/sardaukar, they suck even against normal snipers since all the units stated above are mass produced in infantry wars!, "they multiply quick" if they get the chance to get close.

never underestimate a unit, NEVER.. even when a unit is totally unbalanced it can kick your ass because you did not count on it.

It should be like that, however, contaminators are to easy to counter. The only way they can't be stopped is when you place them in an enemy base near the barracks, so units will be contaminated before they kill anything. But there are other units who would carry that job out as well or better.

if he suddenly manages to flank you with only 3 contaminators he can do incredible damage...

well you shouldn't get that many contaminators.. you should let them do the multiplying.. not you. Your infantry should act as a distraction while the contaminators get close. And once they're there... they will change the game for you, as your forces will multiply while his forces will diminish

Theoretically, you cold get 60 Fremen for the same price as 30 Sards/Contams.

Yes, but why would you need 30 fremen snipers? Seriously, less then half of them would deal sufficiently with any infantry. With 30 sardaukar (or even 15) you can deal a lot of damage to infantry and verhicles, if you manage them properly.

Very sad that you are using an excuse to avoid a skirmish 1 vs 1 infantry fight proving the use of contaminators. A handfull of contaminators will take over your complete army.

Against Ordos or Atreides, I'll take the 30 Fremen Fedaykin. Against Hark, I'll take the 30 Sard Elites. Contaminators? Fuhgetaboutit!
