known at fed2k as personalized picture for our profile. 8)

I was wondering why we can't have our own avatar? Other than there isnt enough webspace, you could restrict the size limit and content of the avatar.

Maybe another reason is that we want to keep this site strictly Dune.

Just wondering.

Also i know that we can have pics in our sig. but my pic may not be on the net, if that is the case.

If there is already a topic on this redirect me too it and delete this thread.

look around. it's closer to the end so don't waste your time with the first bunch. i'd find it for you myself but i'm REALLY busy right now. as a matter of fact, i'm typing this right now b/c i don't feel like doing my homework. damn. i really should get back to it.

Personally, and this will probably get me shot, or better yet; disemboweled in the Fan Fic Forums, but I don't understand why we (read: normal posters) are limited to dune-based avs, when Gob and Mahdi's have nothing to do with Dune.

Gob, just as a suggestion, how about a contest of Dune avatars? I mean each member is allowed to send one proposal of avatar, in a standart format, all should be dune related. And a jury of members would decide which ones should be incorporated in the near future. A jury might be composed of (Gob, Nyar and some moderators of the Duniverse forum, i mean people who knows all about dune), maybe i am thinking to far, but it might be called " Dune 10th Aniversary Avatar contest ".

Just a suggestion, at least sounds interesting. It would make members use their creativity.

Yes, the topic reminds me that I promised Ex to make him an avatar. I tried some things, but they wouldn't work. But I have an idea now

Maybe I can make you one, Nyar. If I can think of something...

And GoldEagle, maybe a reason for not adding. The picture isn't really original. Since there is already an ingame lightinfantery picture(The one emprworm made was also an engineer which already existed, but that had a joke in it)

why in this forum cant be the option like in atom craft? (see pic)...

it's default for YaBB forums, actually, but Gob removed it here.

BTW, avatar added at my Forum. ;)
