I posted this all over the internet. Amazon.Com will now pay the capitalist penalty for their immoral depravity. Here is a copy of the letter I sent them just now, along with posting it all over usenet.

Well YAHOO refuses to sell NAZI paraphanelia on their auctions. Amazon.com confuses freedom of speech with corporate enterprise and smart business practices. Freedom of speech means that people can write or make the stuff, it doesn't mean you have to sell it. Amazon is selling a manual on how to rape young boys. SICK!

Please everyone do something good for the world and email those punks at amazon. Just cut and paste my email if you want to (but remove america and substitute your country, if applicable) Let them know that upstanding people do not support child rape.

Duke leto: No we dont want censorship. Again, you are confusing freedom of speech with free enterprise and cultural accountability. The author of that book comitted no crime. I do not seek to have him punished. He has every right to make a book about raping children. I am not advocating censoring that. But Amazon.com does not have to sell it. When people get fed up with the sick things that happen in this world, then they will cut their apathy and make a stand against this kind of moral depravity. Like I already said, Yahoo refuses to sell NAZI paraphanalia. This is not censorship. This is Yahoo being a smart, moral, and responsible business. Amazon is accountable to its customers. But in this case, Amazon.com thinks that their 'principles' are more important than their customers. Well their principles are morally depraved and their customers are tired of all the sick twisted reprehensible actions in this world. And if their customers cannot change the world, they perhaps can make a dent, and this is one small way to make the world a better place.

I am a consumer. I spend my money on companies as I choose. If a company is going to sell and enable child rapists, then they do not get my business. And they should not get yours either.

Does it really matter? If people don't like the books, they won't buy them, the company will be at a loss and will withdraw it. And should you really blame Amazon? Rather than the sellers, perhaps the authors? Or the publishers? Just because someone sells you a book doesn't mean that they like it, in the same way that someone selling you an apple may not like apples. Or perhaps somewhere in a dark, dank office somewhere a man picks up a new book and looks at it with disgust, "Yuck" he thinks. Then puts it into the 'to be put online' box so that he increases production and may get a pay rise to help feed his starving family.

Does it really matter?

if you care about principles, and are someone who wants to see the world become a better place, and you want to save children, then the answer is yes.

For all those children that are saved because you put pressure on a massive corporation to stop selling a book that convinces adult men that raping little boys is morally OK, it will make a difference.

For now on, everyday, i will dedicate an hour and half of my day to copy and paste my emails about 200 times and email them. In one week that will be about 1,400 emails sent to them. I hope more are sent. The filty bastard who wrote this, and the publisher for it, should go to hell.
