NeoDevilbane
The box advertises that you can ride worms... did this actually get implemented or not? I assume it requires the Fremen, but... Anyone know?- Neo

Seal89999
Dont mind navaros hes just a dumb@$$ >:(! Yes you can ride worms just build a Fremen Fedikin and deploy him on the sand (Living world does have to be on). And in a min or two the worm will come up and you can ride it a little while and then the worm will go under the sand and the fedikin be back on the sand. God nav your such a fag! sonic-worm
Remember..when your Freman Fedaykin is deployed to attract a worm he is un-cloaked and can be easily killed
Marcel71
Living world does not have to be on!!, The worm will also come when LW is off.To deplay your fedyaki (upgraded fremen camp) select it and press d.
NeoDevilbane
"Living World"? What's that? I don't see that option in single player... or this "fog of war" option the manual speaks of. Where are these features, and how can I toggle them?- Neo
Marcel71
Those are options for multi player games (like on internet or LAN).Maybe (i dunno sure) also when u don't do campaign, but just skirmish.
DS_CL
The Living World Is an option in a skirmish mode and multiplayer games. It's listed under fog of war.
Edric O
In singleplayer, Living World is always ON. So you can always ride worms. In Skirmish or Multiplayer, Living World is an option you can toggle.
IxianMace
In singleplayer, Living World is always ON. So you can always ride worms. In Skirmish or Multiplayer, Living World is an option you can toggle. It doesn't matter whether Living World is on or not, that's not going to stop someone from deploying a Fedaykin and riding a worm. VigilVirus
Riding worms is an excellent strategy especially when you are desperate. One time, I took out an entire field of enemy harvesters and units that protected them with just one worm.BTW, remember that the fremen riding the worm can be shot off and the worm will go away therefore use fremen sniper to do that. Also, the worm can be easily scared of fremen fedaykin's sound blaster.

Marcel71
Must have been a game with me :)Last time i had an invisible worm ;DThen it went away, and the fed died later, i was curious if the same fed would call again a worm if it also would be invisible? emprworm
ALL YOU NEED TO RIDE A WORM IS SAND! LIVING WORLD NOT REQUIREDDID YOU KNOW FACTS ABOUT WORM RIDERS:1. you can dupe worm riders with a duper tank. its pretty funny cuz they are white and are what I call "ghost riders"2. also, if you leech larvae a worm rider AND manage to kill it, you will get a leech! pretty cool eh?3. A Flame tank or a sonic tank does the most damage to a worm rider and kill them the fastest4. Two worm riders cannot kill each other, even if they belong to warring opponents (a worm rider is the only land unit in the game that a worm rider cannot kill)5. Fremen deployed on spice will call a worm faster than a fremen deployed on plain sand
Apollyon
ALL YOU NEED TO RIDE A WORM IS SAND! LIVING WORLD NOT REQUIREDyep thats already been said a couple of times in this thread, if u had read it proply ud know that too.5. Fremen deployed on spice will call a worm faster than a fremen deployed on plain sandwrong, it will take exactly the same time, taking into consideration that the call time is between 100 and 2000 ticks. poopydooky
You dont have to have Living World on to make fedykin worms.......Where did u hear the from?Dont mind navaros hes just a dumb@$$ >:(! Yes you can ride worms just build a Fremen Fedikin and deploy him on the sand (Living world does have to be on). Ghosty_Square
It doesn't matter if fedaykin is deployed on spice or sand. The call time is random.
Fuzi0n
I dont think so, i always deploy multipall feds at once, and usually the ones on the spice are the first to ride.
