  1. I agree with the maker, and partially with the sonic (only good when couple with a ADV Carryall) but not the Orni. I love using a squadron of ornis to take out any incoming heavy tanks to my base like Mino, Kobra and Devas. GA
  2. I hate the contaminators, not only are they really crap to use, but when you go against a large army of them with infantry it really pisses me off. GA
  3. I'm an atheist. In fact I was once referred to as a "religious vacuum" But I have morals... I think... But I dislike religion, all religion. Especially organised religion, such as those that involve going to a church every week, and listening to some moron blabbing on about some crap that happened nearly 1000 years ago. Believe it or not, I'm more likely to believe the Raelian Religion, except they are just a little too excentric for me. GA
  4. Re-enter the barracks to heal? That's a cool idea, but how would it be done? GA
  5. How can you rush with Devastators? They're so slow. But couple them with Advanced Carryalls and you've got yourself a mighty weapon. My favs in order of preference Mino Laser Tank Infiltrator Devastator + ACarryall Sonic Tank + ACarryall GA ::)
  6. Not really, but some of the new units I've made act really cool, especially the Flame Tank! And Flame Trooper ;D(converted from Quad and Sardaukar) I got the ornithopter to be controllable with rapid fire missles but it was too powerful. And now when I build one then try to move it, the game crashes ??? Anyways, I continue my modding quest. :) GA
  7. I've been thinking of making a new mod, because the Emp2K mod is turning out to be extraordinarily difficult. GA
  8. I currently have in the works a mod for D2k, my first mod to tell the truth. It is basically a unit conversion, so the dune 2000 game has units that act similar to the ones in EB4D. What do you guys think? Is it a good idea? Or not? GA

  11. Well... I have Dune2k. And XP I originally played it on a Win95 16mb 150MHz CPU system, worked fine there. Works SHITLOADS better on my XP pc! Anyway.... GA
  12. I also have a problem with the map editor, the sys req are fine, the extraction was fine, the Editor.exe program and the viewer.exe works fine. It's shadowmaker and washcompressor that doesn't work, they crash. I use XP, so I thought maybe they were not compatible, so I tried to change the compatibility, but no go. :( I eventually test all the compatibility things, and the programs work with 256 colors, and Disabled Visual Themes. But with Shadowmaker, I choose the map and lighting script then click on add shadows (or whatever the button is) it crashes. Same with Washcompressor... Can anyone help... GA
  13. I recently downloaded the Map Editor, and I have a problem... Let me explain my situation: I Use Win XP (no SP1) Emp is upgraded to 1.09. The Map Editor program itself works, and so does the Viewer, but when open the ShadowMaker, or the WashCompressor an error pops up, on of those "This is program must closed. Sorry for the inconvenience" messages. It's very annoying, considering any maps I make will look crap without shadows! I tried to change the compatibility (to all Win vers) but that didn't work, I change the colors to 256, and the disabled visual themes, and the ShadowMaker opened, but when I tried to create shadows the error came again.
