However I don't have valid Email addresses for them to let them know about this one. As of March 23, 2009 WE HAVE ENOUGH PLAYERS. THE TOURNEY WILL BE 2 vs 2. I will be assigning teams. This would be an easy way of handicapping the Elite players so everyone can have a chance and have fun. I will NOT be assigning two Elites to any one team.4/4/2009 ENROLLMENT IS NOW CLOSEDHere is what Whistler and I (with input from Alchemi and others) have decided on. The Tourney will be based on a Round Robin or Swiss type Tournament. Leo brought up a very good point about how anyone could have a bad night or get rushed etc.In this type of Tourney, every Elite team will play every other opposing Elite team twice. Therefore the maximum number of points that one team could get for their clan is 30 (for a clean sweep, no losses) (3 opposing teams 2 games each x 5 points for each win)The same will apply to the Regular teams. It will run on a points system. Every Team will be getting points for their Clan. To make the point system fair the regular teams will have a X 1.5 factor to their points, due to the fact that they will play a lesser number of opponents.Here are the points-ELITE-5 points - Win4 points - Loose0 points - No showNot so Elite :)7.5 points - Win6.0 points - Loose0 points - No ShowSo that means every Elite team will play 6 games. Every Regular team will play 4 games. I never uninstalled it and would be suprised if it doesnt work still, plus I have about 4 sets of install disks anyway. Not your usuall "stopped playing, lost disks, cant come back" type, me... ;)I am only free occassionally now, mostly in late evenings GMT time.Havent played in over 2 years, I reckon. The discussion centered on making the Tourney fair for everyone, and giving the players something for participating.To this end, we were thinking of sending some sort of medallion to everyone that participates. These would be lightweight, easy and inexpensive to mail. (keeping in mind that we're not wealthy :)) Perhaps something like this, whatever house you play in the tourney, you get that house disk.
