Silly me, I would have spent it on a top of the line Alienware notebook, some new games, and then...food, clothes, rent payments...you know, worthless sh*t.

.........

Words fail me.

I saw the Nintendo bench at first, and I thought it was actually kind of cool, in a nerdy way. Then I scrolled down. What an incredible...nerd, err, loser. You could make a museum with all the crap this guy has in what I assume is his parents' basement.

This is what happens to your kids if you give them everything they want, and no attention at all.

I think it's interesting that people assume this is some loser who lives in his parents' basement. It's not necessarily bad to assume that, since it would be most likely true, but just interesting to think about the correlations between video gaming and having "no life." I wonder what people would think of a guy who's room is totally decked with football stuff. Or hot chicks.

After reading his main site's page on his journey of collecting, it seems to be that he is 32 years old, not a loser at all, and had gotten a lot of his things through his own money. Hardly the guy we tend to picture when we see a room like his.

What about beer posters on the wall? Alcoholic? :)

Still got two to put up in September.

Drools*

Now that is the ultimate game room......although there are a few touches that I would have added had it been my game room.

-63" plasma HDTV flat screen monitor

-Home theater sound system

-An insane gaming pc

I would never leave that room  ;D

People saying my collection sucks on any forums doesn't bother me. Ones that say my collection needs this or that or sucks w/o something doesn't piss me off either.

It's sad that he gets criticized for that when none of them can compare to it.

He is better than those who who: don't have a job, live off social welfare, still live with parents, beat up their girlfriends, rob banks, commit crimes, torture animals...

Having a nerd in a country is better than having a shoplifter. At least he has a wife and a child, unlike those masturbating teenie boppie nerds who pretend they themselves aren't nerds and insult his nerdism. If you bother to get onto his website and check his games, you think you are such a sporty person? Those who insult him are idiots. Morons.

Your comment is based on a different comparison altogether. We compare him to people who don't do anything. You are comparing him with the dregs of society... or even worse. Effectively narrowing it down.

Morons? Far from it. They are justified in making their comparisons, just as you are in making yours.

Yes that's right. So I am just putting down my own opinions. Nothing wrong with that right? Saying he has "no life" just because he has a whole truckload of video games is moronic to me. So well, I am justified in making an opinion. Same for you guys.

Having a job, a house and a family is better than having no job and living off social welfare. At least he pays for the games with his own money - money earned by himself! It doesn't matter what you do with your free time. It doesn't mean that in order to be a good citizen, everyone must play sports in their free time. Just like us.. Aren't we also quite like him? We may not have such an extensive video game collection but hell, we spend most of our free time sitting down in front of our 15-inch screens exercising our fingers. Even now on the forum we are doing that.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, except for the "morons" part

No reason why I should not think the way I am thinking now. My country's communist government cannot stop me either.

*looks around*

So... who exactly are you ranting about? I thought the FAQ settled the matter - 3 months ago.

My country's communist government cannot stop me either.

Yeah, Singapore... communist... no comment... ::)
