Fed2k is really close. We've been here for a long time, and a lot of the same faces are still lingering around. So this thread is based off of that. You see, we seem to know one another by the alias ontop of their avatar, not the real person. And since most of us'll never get the chance to see one another this thread brings an oppurtunity to get closer. So go ahead, tell us about yourself, what you're interested in and anything else. We'll be one happy family...err...that or kill one another in the process. But then again, I never did really like Edric much..

I like to procrastinate. Because I had an essay due Thursday, got an extension until this Monday and still don't have anything done. Maybe it's because I don't know how/what to do. Also burnt out from school and dont give a shit about the rest of the semester, even though I only got the 5000 word essay and one exam left.

I enjoy wasting time on the computer, trying to fix that problem, although when I start working this summer it will be cut down to 2 hours per day.

Enjoy drinking.

A 70% student at UPEI. Going for major in business probably the HR part of it, minor in economics.

umm.. enjoy scifi shows. Dislike: teen movies, pop music, Monday-Thursday. Don't mind night classes, dislike morning classes. I eat sidekicks, chef boyardee and any frozen food that can be cooked in the microwave. That is mostly due to eating potatoes for most of my life before university (cause they are free). When I get into something (work or some hobby) I do it until completed. Same for games, play it until I win (then throw away for a year).

I want to make money so I can pay for bills, purchase a nice car/house and support family (parents) as that will be required in probably 10 years.

Hate being in a sandwich generation in which I will have to support my own family, along with an extended one.

Would like to travel the world to all the popular places. Travelling is fun.

Shame on you Vilgent for not starting off by telling us a bit about yourself.

Went biking, was gonna do it...sometime  ;D. Hmm, I'm a student who won't give a shit until next year. I love biking. Ever since I was four or five I've loved the power and speed you get out of it. In fact, I was off training wheels without any help 10 minutes or so after I rode for the first time. I also like to occasionally run, but that's more of a training piece for the bike. I just recently got my new bike (Trek 5000), which has been more or less my dream bike (speed bike in general really, though this was 900$ more than the one I originally asked for) and have had a few minor mechanical issues. But nothing has stopped me from fixing them, getting back on, and taking off.

I enjoy video games occasionally. I used to be hardcore into them but that's sort of died off, and I only play Halo online when I get bored or my girlfriend pisses me off so much I need to blast something  ;D. Oh, there's another one. I have a girlfriend, Jess. Been a year and three or four months so far and we're as strong as always, but we tend to get into stupid little fights. Besides those it's amazing, she's been with me even though I've fucked up as bad as you can think.

All my friends are girls too. Guess that can be added. Guys just tend to piss me off, excluding the Fed2k members and online and such.

I like to procrasinate, but I'm working on that. Like Andrew once I get into something I go all-out. And I like computers too, just finding out anything I can about them gives me something that entertains me.

I love pizza, sushi, Italian, Mexican, Thai, and pretty much anything you can think of. Except tomatos and onions, I loathe them. Bacon is good too. And I'm under the impression that beef jerky is a creation of God.

Edit: Some stories

Referring to the biking concept I have two. One time when I was seven or so I was into BMX. My friends and I made this ramp and we jumped off of it. Eventually we reached a hiegth no one would jump off of except me. I landed it, turned my head and went "how ya like th-" and ran into a mailbox.

Another one was I was biking a year or so ago, and I barley ever make mistakes anymore with the skill level now, but eh...I had a few too many to work in my favor this time. It was -2 or so, and I really wanted to bike. Sounds stupid, don't get me started -- it really was. Anyways, I went out in gear to get a man from point A to B in Siberia. Except eye protection. I ran in, grabbed my paintball goggles, and ran out. Problem was, there wasn't a fan in them, and soon it started fogging up. No problem I say, I can see the Christmas lights of the houses, and I know the feel and location of these roads. That was a presumption except I forgot the parked car varible. So I'm biking, come around this corner at 30, keep going fast, and then all I see is the SABB logo come up four feet in front of me. "FUC-" *thud*. The bike flew, I did a roll, got up, SABB was dented as all hell. I tried to get on my bike but I fucked the fork over so it wouldn't ride. I grabbed my bike, and started running the five blocks home as I heard police sirens in the background.

We call it Bachelor of Education degree, or you would be part of the Faculty of Education at my university. What do you want to teach when you get out? There's a wide variety (science, social science, business, arts, etc).

Well, for starters, my real name's Chris.  I, too, am a student, living in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I'm currently in my first year of a 4.5 year Batchelor of Engineering in Computing course.  I'm not originally from Edinburgh, but from a town 25 miles East of Inverness, called Forres.

My interests mainly involve games, reading and writing.  In the way of games, I go for both PC and console.  I own a semi-decent PC (1.7GHz, 512MB RAM, GeForce FX5700), a PS2, a PlayStation, a GameCube, an N64 and a MegaDrive (Genesis for everyone else but the UK, I think).  I prefer RPGs and Strategy titles, simply because I get engrossed in them so easily.  They provide me with the most gaming satisfaction, and are thus my favourite genres.  As for reading, it's Dune, Lord of the Rings and Disworld for me.  I've not come across any other series' that I really enjoy yet, unless anyone's read the Nancy Springer "Sea King" Trilogy?  'Cause that was cool.  Lastly, I enjoy writing; by which I generally mean typing.  I tend to write Fan Fiction or long Sci-Fi / Fantasy stories, which reflect my general interests quite well.

Other than that, I like going out every now and then with friends.  I don't mind getting drunk, just as long as I can vomit somewhere in peace if I have too much. :P I enjoy almost every food you can think of, except for one type of stuffing (not sure which one) and white pudding (unless you're Scottish, you probably don't know what this is).  Favourite foods, however, are pizza, chips, curry, black pudding, sweet and sour chicken, pasta and not forgetting the all powerful Branston Pickle. ;D  Favourite drink is Irn-Bru (proudly made in Scotland).  For all of you that don't know what Irn-Bru is, you'll never know until you try it.  It's an orange-coloured carbonated drink that tastes like absolutely nothing else, so I can't describe it. :P

I can't think of any anecdotes right now, but I'd call almost anyone on this site my friend, and absolutely everyone who's active is at least considered an aquaintance.  All avid Fan-Fictioners have a special place set aside for them, too. :)

That's about all I can think of at the moment.  If anyone wants to know anything else, just ask.

Wow, Andrew, you have the same HP Pavillion 700 series computer my parents use!  Psychic!  Or something...

My real name's Philip, although you can call me DukeLeto (indeed, you'd better).  I live in suburban Florida, and am a sophomore in the IB program at DHS.  I don't currently have a girlfriend, but I'm close...hopefully.

I like gaming, programming, Magic, some of that geek stuff, along with writng, reading, being in band, hanging out with my friends.  Ok, so it's all geek stuff.

Speaking of geek stuff, my primary computer is a Gateway 7422GX (Mobile AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 1024 MB DDR RAM, 64MB Mobility RADEON 9600), and it gets good framerates out of games like HL2, UT2004, and Painkiller on high settings.  I play primarily first-person shooters, although I also enjoy a good RTS game (like Emperor, Generals, or WC3) and classic adventures (I proudly own all of the ZORK games excpet Grand Inquisitor...haven't been able to find that one).

I also spend a lot of my free time reading and writing.  I have written a couple of extended essay-style compositions on various subjects (mostly in my english class while the insructor drones on about his personal life.  I love my laptop.), though I'll put them in PRP if I post them at all, since they're all very political/social/religious oriented.  I'm also finally into writing a book after several failed attempts, and am currently reading The Ultimate Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

And...the only person on this forum I've ever known personally is Twin-Head, if any of you remember him.

Anyway, my real name is Michael, and my REAL birth name is Mihail(Like the angel, you know...) and I live in Latvia, a country that became independant from Russia only 14-15 years ago, but is already more stable than it. I have a longing to live in L.A. or Jamaica, and want to move out of this boring hole(Compared to America), but I don't think that'll happen, as I'm only 14. I also want to FINALLY try some weed, and am going to find out soon if the rumour that if you bury compost and piss on it everyday and some wierd kind of weed will grow, is true. My parents own land by the river close to the beach, and we want top build a house there, but that might happen only sometime in the summer. Anyway, I like soccer, swimming(But only in the sea) just laying out on the sand for about an hour, reading, playing the computer, trying to steal cigs sometimes from my dad, annoying(and being annoyed) by my 2 cousins, and a girl called Zane(Pronounced ZAH-neh, with the h's quiet)Oh! And I also like writing and riding my bike around. :)

My name is Dirk, and I suffer from random flares of insomnia (such as now- it's 2:11 over here)

I spend most of my time, well, doing useless stuff. Neglecting my study in the process. Lately I've been trying to reorganise my life somewhat and getting my act together.

I'm a bachelor student in Dutch Law, in a city called Groningen where I live separate from my parents. My room is in a state of perpetual mess, so much it can't be captured on photo, but habitable.

My brother, as explained in this thread, is an asshole. No further comment here.

I'm a member of Scouting Netherlands. As a co-group leader, I have lordship over kids ranging from 7-12 years old. It's great and I'm not ashamed of it.

That's all I can think of right now, the interesting bits that is.

Well obviously my name is Stefan ;) And i really need my sleep :)

I live at my parents; and its basicly only to get sleep, eat and wake up to get to school again. I study in Haarlem at the PABO which is a school to become a primary school teacher. I'm in the 3rd grade. There are 4. I won't be finishing it in the 4th grade though, since i have a bit of a slow-down lately due some depression i had 4 or 5 months back. Things get better, but not on all sides of the story. (and my O key is NT working well today.. :S)

I have 2 brothers, i am the oldest. I am 22, my 2nd is 18 and the 3rd is 14. They'll be 19 and 15 soon though (in a couple of months).

In my spare time i code, i play piano or browse on the internet. I have some places i visit regulary: Fed2k, Allegro.cc and Bots-United.

I will probably go on sports again, play Korfbal as i used to (sort of basketball) for years.

About kids, i have had basicly every class on the primary school you can imagine. I like older kids most. However, lately i am having practice at a 'special educational' school and i like that even more. Probably thats where the future is for me.

No girl-friend btw, she was one of the factors that caused my depression , by breaking up in times i needed her most. Well you can imagine how much i trust some people right now.

Ow, how does dune fit in? Well, since i got a PC (8088) i played DUNE 2 on it (grey monitor) and it was SUPER SLOW. But i played whole mission 3 in 2 days or something! :) Anyways, i kept on playing it, made an editor for it. I worked on this scene mostly in my ' younger' years. I have had a gap of a few years where RealBot came in, and now this gap is gone and i am all the way back at the Duniverse.

Hi there.

My real name is Anders, and I live in Norway (as you ought to know). I'm 17 years old, but it's only approximately two months until I turn 18.

In my spare time I usually sit in front of my computer and either play or program. I love to program, as it's probably the only thing my mind is made for. i kind of even THINK programming, instead of words, hehe. I'm a selv tought programmer which loathes books and almost make a hobby of neglecting my studies (thought I don't. I care, but I'm one of the gits who get acceptable grades without doing too much homework.) Oh, I forgot to say where in Norway I live. I live in Bergen, which is quite south on the west coast, but still not extremely south. It's one of the most rainy places in Norway, and mac is mandatory (very, very mandatory). I have no girlfriend, but wouldn't say no if my dream girl just fell into my arms and said she love me. The school I go to is an ugly one, as in being in a bad shape. The teachers are old and boring, and especially my computer teacher is a pathetic loser (even though she pretends to know something, her ignorance shines like the sun on a cloudless sky. Additionally, you're in a snowy area where the sun beams get reflected into your eyes everywhere you look, and above you is a hole in the ozon layer making sure you get burned even with ten coats of sun block). This summer I will start a firm with a few friends of mine. We will make web pages (I know there is an unlimited supply of web designers out there, but we're special... Hey, don't laugh. We're really special.)

Hmm, I'm quite sleepy, so my text may not be very well connected, but it sums me up. Or at least I got the impression of that while writing.

I'm 1.9 metres tall and weigh 65 kg. That's light weight, I know, but I'm not in any way weak or disgustingly skinny.

I must add one thing:

I've curly hair, resembling the do called afro.
