I finished Dreamer of Dune about a week ago. It's a great book, changes your perspective on everything, I should make a thread this weekend. As for Battle of Corrin, I havn't had time to start it, and I am kinda afraid that it will be a chore more than fun.

Then Maybe I will save Battle of Corrin for this Christmas break in which I get my wisdom teeth out. Won't have much else to do ;D

Perhaps some new ideas might kick-start the board's activity again.  I was thinking about "What if there was a new board, like 'Music' or something?", but I'm not sure if that would really do anything, in retrospect.

Are there any ideas that people think will make Fed2K better?

Why not update the main page? So that when new people come to the site it doen't look like it's a dead site. Nothing new since July 10th?

'Tis a good idea, when I first came here I missed the forum, wandered about and looked at the date of the news item and thought "hmmm, old... maybe this site isnt active" and buggered off. (lucky for you guys, someone told me about the forum and I checked it out, eh  ;))

Being done somewhere, I think I read about it once.

Modswapper being released would make a good front page story. Along with everything else that hasn't been posted since July.

Would be a good idea.

I have atatched some simple bar graphs about some stats found in the stats section.

I didn't make a chart for most users online as I find that extremely skewed in that the settings have changed (so that # of most online more than doubled).

It is an excel sheet zipped.

From what I can tell new topics is below the overall average (by 1/2), and same with new posts.

I thought September was bad, but October got worse. :P

I post very rarely and I took a lot of breaks from ever visiting this forum. But I guess that's really cause I haven't been playing or reading anything Dune-related. At the moment I'm playing Counter strike source and Superpower 2 (ugh..if only they could get that game fixed it'd be so good).

But if you ever need an anti-Bush, anti-religious, anti-institution thread made you know who to call! ;) Devil's advocate.

I'm thinking of actually becoming a republican for a week to see what it feels like. To see the world through their eyes...is the grass still green or is it blood red?
