What avatars have you used since coming to Fed2k?

When I first came, I believe I used

And I most likely played with a couple other avatars (for a short period), until I started making avatars.

I then choose my current one. And oddly I have been unable to reproduce it, having tried several times. :(

Does it drive anyone crazy when someone changes there avatar after using one for a long time?

I usually know people by avatar, then name when viewing the forum.

What/who is your favorite avatar?

It's hard for me to choose, I guess the one I have. (I called dibs on it less than a week after making it, after trying on some others I made.)

Well I was a Dust Scout because they were (and are) my favourite unit in Emperor. I saw no reason to change. Then, since I rarely play Emperor now and have been struggling through the prequels to the best of my abilities, I decided that I rather liked the cymeks. Specifically the Titans. Specifically Dante. And since the Titans were so horribly under-appreciated in the prequels, I decided to support them in some little way. Hence my current name and avatar, which I took from the cover of the prequels made myself.

Actually, it appeared because of the new avatars you made. (actually after I made a bunch kinda like yours :-[)

Yeah, it is super annoying when a person changes avatar and name :P

But you get used to it. I thought you were a new member at first, then I noticed Dust_scout as username.

I've never changed mine, and it's my third favorite (behind Gob and Mahdi's).  Though I'm not particularly territorial about it.

As for my name, all I've ever done was add things onto the end for various reasons.

Havent exactly been here ages myself, but I chose this avatar as I though about what I would like to see, and what I would like others to see when I post....a woman  ;)

And it does make me sad when people change avatars, as I associate those with the personality...like apo was some big bald bloke, and is now a black and white squigily thing  ???

you have to place a pin on the location map if you want your flag to be visible next to your profil eif I am correct. :)

I believe you can make your own avatars as long as they are dune related (50*50 pixels, jpg format or some other kind (not .bmp)) and Gob approves them. Which are publically available for anyone to use. Ask Gob for details. :)

Like the hundreds I made were from both miniseries, the movie and I did the "months" ones with help from TMA I believe. Also the 2 misc Dune fanart that have the dessert are made by me from my Dune Art
