Once Gob dies, Mahdi will usurps Gobs power so the 2 options you listed should be combined. While Gob lives, Mahdi will pretend to be his loyal manservant and do whatever he is told to do. ;D

I don't agree with the options. Where is the option that you think FED2k will still exist after Mahdi takes over. Or the Dutch ofcourse... or the Landsraad (after Mahdi's a very likely one)

I voted 5 years. Why? I don't know. But it just sounds most realistic to me.

I don't think the dutch have to take it over. I think we have already taken it over. Mahdi may never rule. He's Gob's secretary now and already looking way to much to the side of dictatorship. No thank you :)

I voted forever because I think (I hope) that the community is dedicated enough to survive 'setbacks' such as death. Of Emperor, of Gob, death in general. Of course every religion needs a martyr...
