I hate to bring up old topics, but why are smokes so costly everywhere, eh? In Latvia, a pack of Caines costs about $1. Camels and Marlboros cost about $1.40-$1.60

In Canada a regular pack costs $10+.

Our government is smart and taxes the hell out of stupid people (they tax liquor, gas, and pretty much everything but bread).

Like I said before, you can retire on smoking alone in Canada. $200,000 in 30 years is easy. Or you can smoke and die in 30 years.

B-b-b-b-ut smoking makes you look cool with yellow teeth and bad smell!

Earlier in this thread, Alchemi or Atomic said that a pack of 20 in England costs 5.50 ounds. That is like - $9! Jesus H. Christ! :O

Yeah, that's how much it costs here.

That's rediculous lol. A pack here costs $3.50 and up. Although I've heard horror stories of New York costing 5 bucks and up!

In New York? Blech. Here in Chicago, a Pack costs $10. And Taxes on them are still going up....

I started Smoking when I was Ten years old, Dumb But I was in a Crap Neighborhood, and you did what the other kids did, or got your Ass kicked. I quit over a Year and a Half ago, Cold Turkey. Then I got dumb two months ago, and Started again. So of coarse, I'm planning on Quitting, AGAIN.

I'd give you some tips, but it's really not that hard for me. I'm cranky as hell, and hit people alot for a week, but then I'm over it.

I watched the movie at the weekend, I really liked it  :)

I loved that movie! I hate smoking, but that movie cracked me up every second.
