It now works as before, I guess you have an unrelated issue...

Might be worth starting a new thread in tech support for EBFD, dont want to clog up this sticky thread toooo much  ;)

I'm seeing the same problems as Zergis and Erin. WOL has never let me in and complains about an "invalid" serial after displaying "Downloading channels" for ages. I am the only owner of this serial and it should be valid.

XWIS let me log in yesterday (Wednesday 16/6) and I tried playing Leo but my laptop blue screened twice and since then i've not been able to logon to XWIS. I now get "Error: Westwood online disconnected" after clicking Custom game.

I can see EBFD players via http://62.93.200.61:4005/ and I have been able to use the XWIS tool to connect directly to Ords 62.131.170.215 but there weren't any players on it

I have unsucessfully tried connecting to WOL and XWIS both from home and work with and without my Agnitum Outlook firewall.

I only tried different nicks after things stopped working. Can anyone help?

PS Re-installing Shared Internet Components hasn't helped.

i cant believe these problems. if u got the right server tool with the latest version for xwis, u dont need to register really....u just type in a name and a password, and whooooooo u r on.

it works for me as good as it can. never get any probs with xwis. wol is more complicated. u need to register...look in the essentials for the right site, and this should work fine to, as it did for me last week, when i register a friend there.

Hmmm, how do you connect to the internet ? Direct connection ? (i.e. Modem of some kind) Or a router ? You mentioned ICS, is that how you connect ?

I wonder if you have a technical hitch relating to you internet connection. If you could a bit of info about your set-up. Also, posting in the tech help section would be good.

:O is it normal for no1 to be on the XCC server and if there is people on how do i find out there on i checked chat room and no1 is ever in there is it ccause no1 plays anymore or is it cause im not looking in the right place but i know im on the right server cause in chat at the top it says welcome to the XCC Server but if u can help me find out how to find other people to play with id be a very happy person

okay, so is there somewhere else i can get the program? and i have one other very newb question to ask... and i hate to ask it, but how do i get EBFD to connect to your servers instead of the WOL ones? i want to see if i can get into a coop game an' have someone who isn't as new at this as i am to maybe help me get the hang of the game?

i can send u the programm.....just give me e-mail addy...its verry small....but last night we were playing on WOL

we r happy, if we get some good normal games, so i dont think, any1 will do coop with u.

but feel free to ask us to help u....any1 will give u some 1vs1 and teach u the basic stuff to play online, and maybe dont get killed in the first 3 min...

the XWISC.zip doesn't work here either. Page not found. Sigh.

And the server on Emperor seems dead. Chat says that there are about 7 people online. But no games in sight. Everybody already has a game...
