Timenn
That's great :)I'm collecting all the Dune books right now. But I don't think I will buy them all now. The real books and the Encyclopaideia ( :)) are enough to me.
Inoculator9
Don't forget Sardaukar2k in the game part ;)Really nice list there, very comprehensive.
Egeides
What's Sardaukar2k?... "Sardaukar" gave no result on GameSpot and I found nothing from a quick look on Google...
Vanguard3000
Eg: Sardaukar is Inoc's game project. It's still in development.
Egeides
Have an URL or something?Besides Vanguard, what's "CCG" in "The Dune CCG sets"?Besides, wasn't there a tarot card game about Dune? Maybe we should add this legendary classic :P
Vanguard3000
CCG means "collectible card game". They're like Magic/Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh/Marvel Overpower cards. I think the main set is called "Eye of the Storm", and there are a few add-on sets as well. The Dune Tarot was a thing from the books. People would use it to allow them to see the future (I guess like the Tarot cards we have today, although they were depicted as being hexagonal metal plates that would interlock like tiles in the COD miniseries. Mohaim used them a few times). The Dune Encyclopaedia shows pictures of a few of the cards, but other than that, nothing is known about them. And Sardaukar2K doesn't have a website yet. Go here for some info, though.Egeides, I'll update your list with some more info and URLs for you.
Egeides
Well perhaps we should place it in mods (is it a mod?) so we keep commercial games in "Games".Except if you have a reason for not having it done, I'll write CCG in its long version, since probably many wont know what it is. Does this card game have a name or it's really called "Dune CCG"? About the Tarot, I knew what it was in the Duniverse, silly :D
Vanguard3000
Well, it's not a mod, it's a stand-alone game.I've updated your list, and have added a new category (fanfic by members). Which leads me to a request that I think I'll post in a new thread.
Egeides
Woa... this is getting complicated to classify since I had in mind to also add as complement what has to do with Herbert, such as his novels and essais about them. Eyes of Heisenberg and such also have a link to Dune since they get to see more of Herbert's ideas.Perhaps everything that has to do with the games should go on the Dune games forum.Besides, I'm not sure we should separate what's from FED2k from what's not. It's just adding a division, and complicating to find all things of same type under one place.edit:I now went on Amazon and typed "frank herbert". the result is a whole mess of results, many of them vaguely known from me. So if anyone wants to give a check the "Other Frank herbert works" section...

Duncan_ghola
you missed alot of frank herberts other works and in between legends of dune and dune 7 theres also that series of paul atriedies youth growing up on caladan, that will be a series(3 novels) dune 7 will also be 3 novels which will lead up to the main event, it kindof ticks me off how theyre milking the dune universe for all its worth i know frank herbert would have ended it all in one novel not three

But if you think about it Herbert kinda had trilogies, although better trilogies.Dune, Dune messiah, CoD thenGEoD, Heretics and chapterhouse. It is possible that herbert coudl have made 3 more books although i doubt they would all be in the same time period as herberts books varied some thousands of years.
