well I am leaving and I am not gonig to be polite like nyar was, godbless him. Jesse has changed, He is full of it, and I want nothing to do with a creep like him. Many of you will insult me and say horrible things. some because you really care, some to make yourselves look good. I will list complaints on each person in staff

Gob: You are completely stubborn and one sided. I admitted my faults, then when I tried to help somebody, you got so upset that you took away my moderatorship when I called Nema a "jackass" even though he made light of something important to me. That was not the reason you took it away, it was for other reasons and you are sick for hiding things.

Mahdi: What can I say, You have always been a jerk to me. Ever since the e-coli incident when I said that stuff and then apologized! you found it your place to grill me, even in landsraad by the way I found out. So you are scum as well.

Acriku: You are the worst.

Nema: You are arrogant, completely devoid of feeling, and dont understand a single wit of emotion. If you did, you would express it.

The rest of you who pander to this and keep quiet, your just as sick as those who are currupt.

The landsraad has done some pretty horrible things, it isnt like it used to be. Poltics breeds evil, and the point of the matter is, there is no purpose for it. I dont want this blocked because I think its important that people understand how I feel, tyhey dont have to ead it if they dont want to. I will come in and check what people think of it.

I will no longer be around though. Those of you who are not deserving to be called human beings, I will not miss you.

Those of you who are true friends, I will still be around to chat if you want, though I have probably made such a fool out of myself, you probably wouldnt want to talk to me.

I am leaving, most of you will enjoy this, and I dont find any satisfaction in that. I hope at least I made some sort of difference, I love Dune and the duniverse forum. I tried to help as best as I could. Not for you Gob, or for dune2k. I did it because I love dune and I really tried to help. THe rest of you can keep being involved in the poltics here... it isnt worth it though. You will find that some people are as shallow as a pane of glass. Like Jesse.

Thanks for thsoe of you who are friends, you helped a lot and you know who you are.

By the way, I am not going to use the coming and going thread, I wouldnt doubt it though if you either errased this or put it in there, or the dungeon. I hope you have the dignity to leave this up in the open though. I wont be around to be slandored behind my back anymore. and I wont be around people who let it happen. they are worse.

I do not exactly know what was going on, but why would you leave TMA? I have the feeling that you are somewhat paranoid, yet you are a popular member on the boards. At least stay to annoy Navaros...

Sorry to see you go, bud.

When, in ten minutes or two years, however long it may take, you see the irrelevence of this all and come to miss your old friends; feel free to return. I've had to dig myself out of the proverbial pit of my own immaturity more times than I care to think about, and it doesn't hurt nearly as bad as one's mind may concieve.

Say and beleive what you will about me TMA, but I said nothing in the landsraad that I didn't say to your face. And I've only mentioned you once in the last 6 months I beleve, and it was in a sentence-long comment.

You really make me laugh with your dramatic daytime soap opera crap. You and Acriku always have a problem with each other when the other one posts anything it seems. Please give us a break, on these boards we have many different opinions and personalites live with it TMA-1. How are you going to blame the entire Landsraad because of what one person said about you, it is you that is being unfair and unrealistic. You fail to see what really happened when that post about you was written. Acriku in fact did not really slander you he asked about your behavior towards him now how you got slander from that I do not understand. You and others like you should stop blaming the members in Landsraad for certain things it's really childish.

This is fricken stupid. If TMA is gonna leave over something as stupid as getting dissed by a stranger and taking it seriously than thats just sad.

I dont care what reasons you have, Gob and the rest of the guys are really great, just because they dident come kissing your ass because somebody called you a name dosent give you the right to call them a jackass.

Starting this whole ordeal and making a huge deal over it does deserve a revoke of mod status. Maybe you did do something for this community but you can be replaced.

Im sorry to see you throw everything away just because of a stupid matter such as this.

Without seeing the whole of the story, you cannot fully judge.

Know now that the landsraad is not the least bit political. If it has the least of a political function, it is in a purely advisory role: to give Gob a second opinion which he may or may not take. I say this for everyone's benefit.

This also begs the question 'how do you know'? I don't expect a reply, but know again that the Landsraad is a place where we discuss light-hearted topics like the Dutch taking over the world.

Insulting people will not make a blind bit of difference to help anyone's case. I have said before, if you have a complaint about someone address it to them in a sensible manner - that you disagree strongly with certain actions/procedures, giving your grounds, and preferably with references to examples. That way, the person can use the criticism to make them a better contributor. If they refuse, and you still dislike what they say, go to a moderator or to Gob.

Now this is just plain childish... X doesn't like Y, Y is upset with Z because of something W said, and W decides to leave because of rumours about X.

Please try not to turn the forums into one giant soap opera...

That being said, I really think you should give more thought to this, TMA. Don't make emotional decisions.

No offence, but isn't the Landsraad board a bit elitist? I mean, the advisory thing is okay, but it just seems pretty stupid to have a special board for people who have gained the favour of the powers that be.

Or maybe I have the wrong interperetation of what the Landsraad board is...

Its basically just a bunch of people who have a private board to talk about whatever. Usually about the Dutch taking over the world. Originally it was up to me who joined but now everyone votes each month.

We can never explain this enough. ;) The Landsraad started out as "old" members not in age but in time spent here at FED2k as time went on we became out numbered by newer members. Gob was keeping a core of people together that had always been at Fed2k. In a sense we are "elder members" in time spent at Fed2k not age.

Of course there are a few notable exceptions. Since the voting started not so elder members in board time, but years of age, have been voted in.
