I was standing at a bus stop in a village near me, to go into town for the evening.

They pulled over and asked what I was doing.. and I was like, "..............errr..... waiting for a bus!" and they offered me a lift to the end of the road (it's a VERY long road) and when I got in they said they had driven over because they thought I was a vampire.

I was wearing a long black coat, short black skirt, birght pink fishnet tights, big boots.. and I guess my black eyemakeup, bright red hair and black/red lipstick may have given them the idea, but still!!!

I have never ever been in trouble with the police for anything and I think it's bad that they stop to tell me off cos I wear black.

However it is quite cool when they give you a free ride for being different.

i think they were just pulling your leg when they told you they thought you were a vampire.

in reality, they probably thought you were a hooker. they came over and talked to you to investigate, realized you were just a mis-guided kid, and so they thought to themselves: "if we tell her we thought she was a hooker, it's gonna terrorize her, so let's tell her something cute and funny instead"; and hence you are left with the vampire story.

Most likely it was as Nav said because that is the way law enforcement officers think not to offend you but that is usually how some dress who are solicitors.

It's so funny in my school, because all the sixth formers go round in leather trench coats, down to shins, and long wavy hair. One of my teachers said they are like a cross between the geshtapo(SP?) and barbie ;D Seriously they look so stupid.

As for gothicism, I really like the style and the contrast between black and white. I don't like "gothic" music much but that doesn't mean anything. As for your resident goth, Ken, just remember that not all goths are like her.

i don't like gothic stuff either... It does make them look like vampires/witches. Once i even saw two gothic gals with fake spiders in their hair. They just freak me out, hair black as the night, and a skin as white as milk. And i've never seen on that should be as pretty as snowwhite

Well... goth-wise... i wouldn't say I am a hardcore goth or anything.. there's as much chance you'll find me dressed like a mod as a goth. I tend to be somewhere on the goth/geek side of dress sense though.

I wear a lot of black, and a lot of bright pink. I dress for the occasion though, and a night out tends to give me an excuse to dress "up" and that's why I was so black that night.

In my defence I don't look like a witch, or a vampire, or any kind of thing like that... I don't think I'm ugly and minging (I'm not saying that as if I think I'm gorgeous, cos I'm not, I'm average.) but just because I wear black, doesn't make me ugly.

Music wise.. I dont think gothness affects it, I have a broad taste in music and my clothes sometimes reflect that but they arent definitve of it. Admittedly my current infatuation with Ville Valo of H.I.M. is of the goth persuasion, but it's not everything.

Goths are people too...
