ordos APC's?

Who really uses ordos APC's now? i mean, they are not stealth. i use them for protecting my spice sometimes, because they can kill drones, what do you use them for?

i always use them for air defence.... and someplayers using it for an early engineers rush(because it's so fast) without a carryall!

Eh well they can give you mobile AA against drones, gunships etc and their fast. Plus therer decent when mixed in with other units.

I dont use them engies, because they are not like the ATR apc, they are not stealth and its hard to get them into a base

Same here, and for rushing heavy units that can't fire when moving as their weapon does more damage than the laser.

I sometimes have to resort to this tactic, and i don't have the luxury of an stealthed apc.

I use 'em for engineer drops. And for AA. And just occasionally as an APC...

I use them, in long games, for a capable AA element mixed in with Laser Tanks. Normally with a 3:10 ratio Laser majority. They make for an extra punch that is just delightful, in my opinion.

I, so far, haven't had much luck with an Engineer drop though. If only because that by the time I have a successful attack going and I'm able to safely drop the APC; I would be better off to just raze the enemy base and be done with it.

APC's are good for rush attacks against enemy Carryalls.

I prefer troopers for that. Cheaper.

I use them a bit, for fast troop movement and engineer drops. I use them with about 5 at most laser tank

Recalling my days in WOL,i remembered that even those elite guys I met like tuan2k,d3sp0t,hinafloh,elte47 and many other pple,all did not use ordos APCs as they were more interested in rushing with other units ;)

Ordos APC's were always good against enemie Air Units especially drones due to there mobilty and speed.

< Woha having a flashback of seeing an lvl 2 Ordos APC > that thing was fast as lightning.

If you mix an apc w/engineers into a mass of laser tanks and assault a base, you have a good chance of getting something out of it.

i just thought of one, this might work against a noob but if you put a few apcs around your outer base as aa defense you might trick your enemy into thinking your weak against an air raid put if you filled them with aa troopers and at the right moment deployed them for air defense you might.. never mind it wouldnt work the gunships usualy get their target anyway its probably more usful if deployed with aa troopers at an enemy spice field

Ordos APC's are excellent at distrupting harvesting efforts. Even if they can't finish the job. The Carryalls take them away and those are seconds of cash lost right there. A very useful, if a very nasty, thing to do.

And it can also do an engineer rush but the thing is that it is NOT CLOAKED!!! >:(

The Ordos APC is amazingly fast. I once tried to run an Ordos APC across the map which it had to cross a whole load of Hark. Troopers+Missle Tanks and it out run all their missles and went across safely(Only elite APC can do that, mind you)(I was trying to deliver an engineer to one of my outpost base for building repair.)

Somehow APC is an alternative for laser tank if people won't mind the slower rate of fire in exchange of a greater anti-infantry capability. (why those lasers are so dam weak against infantries? I just hate that)
