April Fools Day!!!

So ya, lets discuss April Fools day here...what pranks did you/will you pull? (within rules)

I'm not sure what I should do, maybe unscrew the salt and pepper shakers...or not go to class.

FED2K is not Closing for Good, just something to grab your attention and make you worry. (which is what April Fools Day is all about)

hmmm I called my parents from the office asking if they could come pick me up. My mum asked why and I told them I lost my driverslicense for speeding in the city (can't loose it outside the Skoda only runs 130 MAX 140 km/h) she was all fuzzy about it and asked my dad. When she got back I asked her what day it was and she sai the 1st.....and went silent, then the phone was slammed and I was laughing so hard my stomach is still hurting.

Last year my littlebrother called me telling me that the car he had borrowed from me had broken down (wich is credible enough) I told him I would come pick him up and when I rolled up next to my car, the hood open and all he started laughing. That's the best anyone have pulled on me.

Hehe, or course not. :D The only people that I add to my ignore list are people that are real prunes, or are the worst of spammers. :P

Perhaps I have to learn to make sarcasm obvious without the use of smilies...

Anyway, I'm posting this on April the 2nd (the previous post was also on April the 2nd), so it's not really a 'valid' April fools day, but I hope you know I was just fooling around here. ^-^ >_> <_< >.<

When I saw the thread title: 'FED2k closing down for good', I almost s*****d myself. This is like a second home to me (if you know what I mean ;)), and I'd hate to see it all disappear. The April fools days novelty wore off on me a long time ago, but I can joke around about it every now and then, so long as 20 people don't try to all pull a practical joke on me whenever they get a reason to. :)

One of my firnds parents played the most hilarious prank by hgolding his hand and walking him up to the school gates in front of all his friends. And she was saying all the kind of stuff you'd expect a mom to say to a 6 year old. Then she said Happy Birthday in front of everyone. Needless to say birthday beats ensued by the hundred.

I made a prog in C++ that looked like formatting the HDD and I ran it while my info theacher was around. Very calmly she said that it wans't a problem: I would take the PC home and repair it... :- She didn't get mad, she didn't understand either...

So my practical joke failed...

A long time ago, when I was in about 4th grade, I got the entire class to start coughing at once. The entire class got sent to the nurse's office!

That same year, not on April Fools Day, I bought some edible napkins. There was some end of the year picnic. I started eating the edible napkin and everyone thought that the real napkins were edible! People tried eating edible napkins! Lol

Well let's see, in astronomy on monday on the board it said "Study like the test will be tomorrow- or it will be!"

but, as usual nobody studied, because our teacher is kool, and wouldn't do anything like that :D

but the next day on april fools, I have chemistry with him as well the period before astronomy, and I asked him if he would like to pull an april fools joke, and set up all the tables spread apart (the way he always does on test days) and we wrote on the board "Test Today" as well as he got another student in the astronomy class, who is his aid in my chem class as well, to tell people that the test was today... so everyone comes in... woried because nobody studied, and everyone starts studying, and he gets the tests in his hands, and says: "everyone ready?" and everyone said: "NO!! why did you change the test day!!!???" and things like that, but then he just said, "april fools" .... I was surprised nobody realized that it was going to be an april fools joke.. :-

also one that I wasn't involved in but I have the teacher who the joke was played on. Basically he is an Anti-French teacher, doesn't like the french at all, mostly because they are against us in the war. So during his 6th period he has a sports class and isn't in his room. someone got his 6th period student aid to let them all in and they put up all these pro french signs. and they wrote all over the board and everything, there were French flags everywhere...hehe, in every droor, on every wall, on every sign, they even replaced his printer paper with french flags so when he printed something it was on a french flag hehe... lol, his room was the talk of the school in the morning ;)

Here's an elaborate and well-done joke ever done to anyone online... (Or at least a die hard C&C fan)

Well, it went like this: The Genedit2k site posted an article about an X-pack for Generals. They featured something about new units and 2 new sides.

New units:

-NBC Trooper (US) Basically, can survive radiation, chemicals, anthrax or whatever. Armed w/ a silent weapon and anti-tank grenades, he is also stealthed and can be mass-produced...

-Spy plane MiG

Here's the catch: No new sides, no new units (especially w/ the NBC trooper part, but its possible that the MiG might make it...).

How fooled was I? So much that I went the extra mile to send a message to developers to include new units (Such as Russia's Su-47 Berkut fighter and the Ka-50/52 and Mil-Mi-28 copter gunships.) :P

Nicely done though...but one good thing is that...yep, there's an X-pack coming up... :)

Just call me Avrillian so there won't be any confusion w/ a certain necktie-wearing skater girl (that I'm a big fan of, w/c explains the name, though these days, second only to Linkin Park...thanks to Meteora.)

Let me guess, the Generals X-pack is also a hoax? :- Dang...

It would be nice to have one though ::)

This isn't related to an April Fool's Day prank, but it occured on April 1st, so I thought I might add it:

The 12th graders had gone on a pcnic to a hill station. It was organised by the school, and the Principal(f) and their Chem teacher (m) accompanied them.

So, the bus passed by a lake, and it was pretty cool to look at, clear, surrounded by hills, you get the drift. As it was deep even at the banks, no one tried entering (the wimps). Everyone was standing on the banks, when suddenly Princi lost her footing and fell face forward into the lake. Immediately, that ass Sridhar started scratching his crotch and yelling "Hnow Hnow Hnow, Myaadum Phel Don, Pickrup, Pickrup", sustained a rupture, and fell in himself. They made a lovely couple.
