erjin999
Was it a one word post ? That might explain it.
lowzeewee
It was about 3 words.
Gobalopper
The world must be ending moderators are deleting lowzeewee's posts!
lowzeewee
Seriously, there is a conspiracy around here.... :O
erjin999
The world must be ending moderators are deleting lowzeewee's posts!Would it not be a good idea for either the mods to edit the post to the words of "POST REMOVED" and leave it there, thereby showing WHO edited/removed it, and showing that there was a post removed ?Or at the very least, a IM to say that its been done and for reasons (unless it truely obvious, then no reason need be given)... nemafakei
Do you know how big the dungeon is? If we had to send IMs for every post we deleted... it would just be pointless.Editing to 'POST REMOVED' is no better for one word spam, and for larger messages, the original content is lost. Seal89999
Thanks for that Andrew ;)
Gobalopper
There is a moderator log so if I really need to know who did it I can always find out. As for reasons the only time we do is if a thread is moved and even then its optional. If you need to know why just IM one of the moderators/staff. lowzeewee
I'll let the matter rest...but if it happens again... >:(
Andrew
Then according to Gob you should IM one of the moderators/staff if you have a problem.
lowzeewee
Lol the International School of Forum Rules! :D And the lecturer is Andrew.Alright enough of this. ;) Gob, looks like the front page is stale huh? Is that why we aren't having as many members coming in as before? :-
erjin999
Do you know how big the dungeon is? If we had to send IMs for every post we deleted... it would just be pointless.Editing to 'POST REMOVED' is no better for one word spam, and for larger messages, the original content is lost.Make me staff for a day then I will know how big the dungeon is, otherwise, no, I dont know.I dont think it would be as bad as one word spam if POST REMOVED is placed in an edited message because its actually informative. To others who will realise that someone has had a post removed, and it will let the offender know who removed it.But of course they are only friendly suggestions. ;)
