As it is the most famous and joyfull time of the year again I can't resist myslef starting up my B&O, opening the glass-window, carefully placing a CD in the apropriate place, volume is going up, windows open [ darn it's cold ], getting comfortable in my chair, and then. . only then at the right time pressing the "play" button. So the best Xmas song ever fills the room, the garden, I guess the neigbours rooms to not even to mention the street in front of my house.

And yes, it's Slade .. . Merry Xmas Everybody ;D

I didn't find another topic about this subject on the forum this year, so think I'll stick my neck out and be the first. As it's getting well passed midnight over here, I'll be off most of the day today and when I get back it'll be Christmas evening. [ a few hours after that the US will have caught up with me and you'll all be having a turkey dinner, or something else ].

So to all of you, merry Xmas.

I really don't mean to go off topic but please say Marry Christmas and not X-Mas. A lot of people say it is a shorter way of saying Christmas. but it leaves the word "Christ" out of it. and Christmas is really celerbrateing Gods birth. so please don't say X-Mas. it offends me. its already enough with santa takeing the place of God in the maneger.

It just makes no sense. A holiday about a jolly fat man. Thats ludicrous. Its not Christmas with out the Chirst. Other wise it would be called Santamas... and you all know what the church lady says about Santa. :P Is Dana Carvey Canadian too or is it just Mike Myers?

So have a Meryy Chirtmas Eve or just say Happy Holidays that way you dont step on anyone's toes ;)

Im from New Zealand so I guess Ill be one of the first to start Christmas day. Which is 4 hours from now. Is the first time ive posted i read the convos daily tho :P

truth to be told, we have celebratet jul as we call christmas/x-mas here in Denmark long before we (the danish) became christians.
