GhostHunter
Well again Nyar is the largest helper here. But heres my idea :) :What I would do is download the latest Emperor pacthThen un-install Renegade to see if it works, also try putting your screen resolution down to like 600x400.Also make sure you have the latest drivers.Renegade cannot replace Emperor files, it doesn't do that unless you instinctvily make it do so. Nyarlathotep
Check out the website in my signature, Especialy the suggestions in the basic section have been identified as problem solvers when EBFD was locking up.
Procyon
Yes, I`ve checked your site, and I also post my problem to them.Apollyon, You have the same problem? With Emperor and Renegade? I have 3 HD, 1 HD for windows, other HD is mine where I install all my games, etc. and other of my sister. Which one I must refformate(?)?
Nyarlathotep
If you want to format, it's the one where windows is installed.
Apollyon
yes, although the problem will of course be slightly different at the core, but this will probably solve it. If it does not solve it, the problem is either drivers or hardware fault/confliction such as bad RAM.
Procyon
I don`t thing is RAM, because I have 340 mb RAM, and all other 3D RTS games work perfectly.Where can I find the option of reformat? It will delete all the windows files? Nyarlathotep
it will whipe everything off your harddrive... EVERYTHING, so make sure you have backed up your files you want to keep !And if you're not sure how to do it, involve someone who does. Apollyon
I would reccomend partitioning your HDD so you can save some data. You may have been given a recovery disc by your comps manufacturer, use this if you can.
Procyon
Partitioning the HD? I must partition my 3 HD, the one with all the windows data or the HD where Emperor is installed?Anyways, there aren`t other solutions to my problem?
Apollyon
i dont know any other solution myself but that doesnt mean 1 doesnt exist. if youve got 3 harddrives then you dont need to worry, just move all vital data you wanna keep onto 2 of them and wipe the one with windows. Procyon
Then I must reinstall Windows? Or copy the windows data to another HD?For example, I have the windows data in C:Windowsand I have Emperor and renegade installed in D:westwood** = "Renegade" or "Emperor" folder(The letter of the cd driver is "F")
Apollyon
yes, format C and reinstall windows.
