This is only for people who like Star Trek. So if you hate it DON'T post. I kindly ask the moderators to remove such posts.Ok, now the nice part of my post:As you know you have 4 different crews in Star TrekJames T. Kirk (Enterprise) with also Spock, Bones, Scotty, Chekov, Sulu, UhuraJean Luc Picard (Enterprise D/E) with also Riker, Worf, LaForge, Troy, Data, CrusherCatherin Janeway (Voyager) with also Chakotay, Paris, Kim, B'Elanna, Neelix, The Doctor, TuvokBenjamin Sisko (DS9) with also Kira, O'Brian, Dax, Quark, OdoMy questions are:1. Which crew do you like most?2. Which crew do you hate most?3. Which person do you like most?4. Which person do you hate most?My answers1. Kirk crew + Picard crew. Can't choose between them2. Voyager crew3. Data4. NeelixOdd questions, but answer them :)

1. Kirk's Crew: A funny doctor, A vulcan, and no Betazoid!

2.Deep Space Nine: I just didn't like that series...And they killed off everyone by the end! >:(

3.Worf: I just like Kligons! ;D

4.Deanna Troi: She was a bit too "touchy-feely" for my tastes. (Course I don't think a callous old hag would have been a very good counselor. ;D) And she couldn't drive: She wrecked the ship in "Generations", remember? And I just don't like Betazoids...I prefer people NOT be able to read my mind. ;)

1. Voyager's crew. Good actors. An eclectic mix. A bit of everything there.

2. Original Enterprise (Kirk). I havn't watched them all that much but they're WAY too cheesy. Scottie is the only upside IMO.

3. Seven of nine with data as a close second. She's so backward that its funny, plus she looks damn good in that tight jumpsuit thingie.

4. Troi. She's a wishy-washy psyco-babbling airhead who never shuts up about her feelings.

1. Voyager Crew or Picard's Crew

2. Deep Space Nine (although I loved the storyline)

3. Worf or Seven Of Nine

4. Troi , other than Eye Candy, her character didn't grab me like the others seemed to do. ;)

The best crew, undoubtably of the first 2 Enterprices. It must be Kirk's crew.

And I like Q, although he's not a crewmember of the Enterprice.

Sorry to say that "the wonderboy" was to much of a wonderboy if you'd ask me.

Posted

1.) picard's Crew

2.) Voyager

3.) Data

4.) Troi - hard to take her character seriously when you know she use to be a porn star....hard to picture her as an intellectual counselor when her previous "acting" roles had her doing other things :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

1: Kirk's crew. Watch the original episodes and see how it is done. They kick ass.

2: Voyager. Did you notice that they are totally politically correct? They have a female captain, a native american second in command, a black vulcan and a female human/klingon... whats up with that? I mean go overboard.lol

Besides it was a dumb soap opera.

3: Spock. As much as he tries, he still acts human. Moreso than his human counterparts at times. He is just a great guy in the books and movies. My favorite.

4: I have to agree with Timenn on this one. Neelix is an absolute fag. There are no redeeming qualities to him. He probably isnt even a good cook. what a homo. sorry but true. With all those attributes it wouldnt surprise me if gunwounds is related to him.lol

All Star Trek sucked other than the original. The orginal had suspense and intrigue. The others were major *borefests*. Oh now, the hologram has feelings now! Isn't that fascinating? let's stop holograms from killing each other!!! Hey, how about going back in time to save Mark Twain? ::)

Every Star Trek after the original has sucked uberly. All the others are predicatble, trite, boring, unimaginative, dull, and lifeless. The characters are just talking heads with no personality or uniqueness at all. I could literally almost predict word for word the responses of every character on any "Star Trek" other than Shatner's, even without having seen the episodes before.

The best: Kirk. Kirk was the ultimate man. Not like that pansy, Pickard. Pickard is just like a girl, in fact he even gets his butt royally kicked by a girl in one episode! ROFL. Some "Captain" ::)

Uhura was hot. Oh man. I'd tap that! ;D

As far as the new series go, the only good characters were both from DS9, and it's really the actors that make them great rather than the horrid script they had to recite. Those exceptions are:

Garek (think that's his name), the guy who was a tailor on DS9. He was always compelling and fascinating to watch.

So was Weyoun (think that's his name), the guy who served the homely female changeling. He has totally white skin and really blue eyes. That actor also brought a true greatness to his role, unlike anything has after the original, except for the equally-fascinating Garek character.

Well, I guess that covers what I was going to say:

Everyone, don't swear so much. There are young children (my brother, for one) that visit this site. If you find you are compelled to curse, we have asterisks for a reason. ;) Example: Sh*t.

oh my goodness cable you are SUCH a hypocrite and stop post Off Topic stuff in threads like this just to annoy us all and start flame wars. This thread is about Star Trek so unless you have something intelligent to say about STAR TREK then do not post in this thread cable.

ANYWAY, I agree that the recent series' characters were shallow and predictable, but at least they were believeable. I mean, unitone speaking androids that steamed out of their ears in the first series really put me off it. It seems that, as the series go on, they're getting more and more human. Enterprise looks promising.

Enterprise is the worst of a lot. The male Second Officer grew a female human nipple on his wrist and became "pregnant".There is no other way to say it: that is just OBSCENELY SICK.If *that* does not put ya off, nothing will.

Political correctness is full of crap. I am stating the truth. I was wrong for slamming you gunwounds. Everything else though is okay. I made an observation. You should understand this. you too DukeLeto.

Glad to see everyone honored Timenn's reqest. ::) Anyhow, my answers

2. Enterprise Crew

3. Captain Sisko

4. Tuvok, because he is a paradox of a Vulcan.

The Next Generation crew (them or the original crew (Kirk & Co.))

The Deep Space Nine crew - the series was just too boring for me (I mean, their "ship" can't even move (ahhh!))

Seven of Nine/Data is the best. I think Seven's good because she's got a lot of character (and because of the other obvious reason :)). Data's good because he's the smartest guy on his ship.

Neelix - SOMEONE SHOULD SHOOT THAT GUY!

Voyager is (or WAS for you Americans (the show's still running in SA :-[ >:()) just too PC. They never kill anything! They don't even kill a nasty insect when it's killing one of their crew members! I still watch the show cos interesting stuff happens (I mean, that's the reason why people watch Star Trek anyway).

Anyway, I think Star Trek's very good but I still prefer Star Wars.

GO, STAR WARS!!!

I'm more of a casual fan than a trekkie, but I'm bored, so:

1) Kirk and co. The original, the best.

2) The Next Generation.

Worf: "Sir, there are four enemy vessels approaching us. there shields are raised and weapons ahve targeted us. Should I raise our shields and shot them?"

Picard: "Troi, what are they feeling?"

Troi: "Anger sir."

Picard: "Anger. Anger at there childhoods perhaps? Senior staff to the conference room, we must have a discussion about the attacking fleets possible childhood trama."

8 hours later, while Picazrd and co and still discussing the pyschological tramas of having unloving parents over earl grey and a scone, they are shot.

Pcard: "Hail them. Hello there, I'm the captain of the Enterprise. Can't we all just get along?"

3) Kirk, of course. Regulations be damned, whatever it takes I'm gonna save my ship and the lives of my crew.

4) Picard, of course. a Lassaiz-faire leader who would rather discuss peoples feelings than actually do something.
