Gobalopper
No they are called NIAB tanks, not NAIB. Naib is:"NAIB: one who has sworn never to be taken alive by the enemy; traditional oath of a Fremen leader."Whereas NIAB is the Guild's Tank, check your manual if you don't believe me, and stands for Navigator In A Box. quoudam72
Eye yoke on my face Gob. When I pointed that out I misspelled NAIB for the word NIAB which as you pointed out means Navigator In A Box.
zorn7
Er, what I meant Gobby was that Westwood sort of made up the word NIAB (it's been a few years since I have read the series, correct me if I'm wrong) to serve their own purpose. Ya know, it really erks me about what Westwood did to the Ixs and Tleilaxu. They pretty much took the name and said "Oh, they sound like they'd do this, and they sound like this"
Gobalopper
Well of course but what else are they going to call a navigator that can teleport across the map? :)Emperor certainly doesn't come anyone near the way the books were but it doesn't bother me at all since its just a game and I think they are allowed some creative licence with it. ordos45
NIALG: Navigator in a Las Gun It shoots, it speaks, yes it even see the future giving u the lucky lotto numbers.*small print at screen bottom* Cost is 2 billion solaris, any lottery money you recieve must be paid to the Guild in the form of spice bribes. Any attempt to bribe an operator is not allowed, unless it is spice and then they will accept the bribe but will not do what you want them to. Also if you are looking at this you have been brainwashed into becoming a spy for the Guild. Thank you and have a nice day......suckers. nemafakei
You can't ally with the Guild in campaign. The plot requires that they be your enemy in the end anyway.
