Sardaukar ok, but chemtroopers has too short range for contaminators...

So long as your Chem troopers don't get overwhelmed, they perform well against contaminators as they outrange them by a short distance and kill them very quickly. When the computer is controlling the contaminators, you don't have to worry as they seldom attack.

It takes forever for contaminaters to kill 1 chem trooper.

It`s no point send infantry against contaminaters. Vehicles make them invisible without any losses

yeah.... contaminators are too expensive..... unless you got to fight a kindjal/trooper/AA trooper army it's so fun to see how your contaminators multiply like bacteria

Every time I had contaminators, enemy (in skirmish) didn`t send infantry agaist them and when it send always with vehicles support

well... they do fit in the story ofcourse... and well.... they have some use... they are just hard to handle, need a lot of micro.. that's why computer can handle himself with tleilaxu

Yes, When you controll the Leech and choose a target he starts colliding with the unit for some strange reason.

That`s the reason why people don`t like control Leeches. And no controled Leeches are no effective

The best thing is just set the leeches on Spice field's and let the Guard thing do the rest.

i'd go for the zerg/terran combo.. but then again.. that's impossible....   :-/

When I play on Arrakis I always play with Fremen + xxxxxx (no Tleilaxu) On other worlds it may be all different...

It depends on how I feel like playing. If I want to be insidious, I'd go for the Fremen/Ix combo and punish enemies for not using scouts (then bring my own scouts if I know he/she is wise enough to use them). If I want concentrated strength , I'd go for Sardaukar/Guild to be my front line units whilst my own Ordos units support. Tleilaxu/Ix (Guild or Fremen will also do) if I wanted to be vexing (I don't often do this though) and have cannon fodder units.

Normally I prefer Fremen/Sardaukar to have a balance though I'm starting to play Fremen/Ix more. Sandworm riders are awesome against human opponents as they tend to amass units on sand and forget about them.

I usually take the Fremen and Sarduakar, both of these are very good combaters.

True, this infantry attack almost always works, but Ix is very helpful with projectors
