Grey, foggy and cold. A good ground frost and it's 11am with no sign of a thaw, how our weather changes, only four days ago it 11 degrees at 11pm now its 2 degrees at 11am. ::)

Is that because they have grounded a crap load of flights and quite a few people hoping to travel before Christmas might not get too far until it clears ? :P

I didnt think they needed to be able to see much with all their technologies... :-

Here in Chicago, we had a horrid cold snap. I'm talking -26 Degree Celcius Windchill. Then it got up to -1 and we recieved quite a bit of snow. Now however, it's strangly warm. 7 Degrees, all the bloody snow melted.

So indeed, a not so White X-mas for me.

Hey, looks like I'm a bit late here... Anyways, this winter has started as an unusually warm one in Moscow too. It's only about a week that we have sub-zero temperatures, and snow (it's quite scarce, but is still there). The air is very moist, which I find quite annoying, as it feels colder that it actually is. Looks like the whole climate is changing - it seems to get altogether warmer each year (Global Warming effects perhaps? We'll see).

Well, fuck me, we had snow in the mountains and it felt like early Spring over xmas. Last year it was 40 deg C. And we had more of an "extended" famil than family affair so it was truly grouse.

Happy New Year to one and all. I wish you all every prosperity, and no regrets!
