What is GMail???

I only know a GString ::)

Well put it this way... if you use G-Mail, you'll probably never see a G-String. :-X

I do have an account, but I never use it. Anyone who wants an invite is welcome to IM me and ask for one.

Hotmail gives 250 meg by default...

Dunno, I have several accounts, both after and before the 250Megs thing, and only 1, my oldest, upgraded, all others were a paltry 2 megs, so I used the trick anathema mentioned to get 250...involves setting your country to USA, state to florida, closing account, reactivating account, etc...

Now I got 250 megs :P

And I still have at least one account with only 2 megs, will upgrade when I get pissed off.

Oh, and anathema, it still works as of about 4 weeks ago...

Found out last night one of my friends accounts still has 2mb, and he has had it for as long as I have almost, and he uses it everyday...

I told him to get gmail for holding files and such.

Weird. All 5 of my accounts have 250 megs and some are new, others old and all of them set to UK in locale etc.

Oh, mine where set up to wherever I clicked as I was putting in the info (randomly) So I think I landed in Thailand or somewhere for at least one of them. But I thought 250Mb was for ALL countries, no ?

Once I got 250 in my main account, gmail was not that attractive, but had it not been for gmail, I wouldnt have had 250Mb  ::)

Heck, if you are desperate to give em away I will take one, might even start liking, never know.

One thing that would be important, can you use Outlook or Outlook Express to read emails from gMail ?

I wanted to get another email cause I get to much spam at my other ones. Guess I should stop registering them at all those free porn websites :O
