The Nighmare Before Christmas is very very good.  I'd also recommend National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase, etc.  If you haven't seen this already, for shame!).

Home alone is not exactly what I am looking for. doesn't bring me in a  christmas mood... I guess I am a bit early but if I am to get movies I order before christmas it is the time to start.

A Christmas Carol is also a good movie, at least the one I have seen from the 80's. I know there is a newer one with Patrick Stewart, is that one better??

Thinking back, maybe I should have known it's death was imminent... I mean, it's legs glowed orange on the motor-bike.

o ya it is! doesnt like tnt or some station play that over and over again on christmas day? (well here in the US any way...)

i actually like the muppet christmas carol movie myself...

star trek generations? that's the only star trek movie I haven't seen...how is it about christmas?

What has that to do with Christmas? It's a decent movie, but not as good as First Contact.

As for it being a Christmas movie, it is not, although maybe it was released before Christmas...
