What courses are you taking?

And by poor I mean university/college students.

How much is your tuition increasing? Or what are your costs? (in $CAD or $USD please)

Mine is going up 6% plus a new $30 technology fee according to my Student Union president, although it is not indicated on the fees pdf file provided by my university (see image). ::)

And Yes I know UPEI is probably one of the cheapest universities in Canada.

And for all you younger kids, this is what you may have to look forward to spending each year, along with $5000 in living expenses. :(

But if I want to pay off my student loan in 5 years after I graduate, I will have to pay approximately $500 a month for 5 years at say 9% interest (so $10 000 in interest yah!). Hope I'm making $2000 a month by then ::)

EDIT - Almost forgot books cost about a $1000 each year, then you can sell them for about $100-300 if they don't come out with a new book.[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

They are starting to be a pain. And registration starts next Wednesday for me. Will post the results when finalized.

hmzl. . .Uni's here arn't that expensive. . think I payed about 2000 Euro's for one school year. . being allowed to follow all classes for that price.

Not including books that is.

For now I am realy doubting if I should go for the CCIE course [ Cisco cetification ]. . if I do so training would cost me about 5000 - 6000 Euro's. . .and I don't even get one semester of classes for that. . :P. . the exame itself will cost another 150 Euro's...

I'm about to go to the university this year but the army will pay me for almost everything, tho' after I graduate I'm going to be an officer in the army for 6 years.

  At the Community College I attend, tuition is about $750 US, plus some minor technology fees etc.  Of course, if I live on campus that's another $1,400, but the Pell grant and MTAG takes care of a good bit of it.

  I'll be taking Computer Concepts, College Algebra, Biology II and World Literature I.  I like twelve-hour semesters.

Well at A level I'm taking Physics, English Lit and Film Studies.

At Uni, next year, I want to do English, Theology and Religion.

Rihgt now(well, not exactly right now as it's still summer break) I'm doing something which would translate to A-Levels. After that, I might start right off as a programmer, or take further education, probably at a school called Noroff where they teach you 3D games programming. That costs more than 10 000 USD a year, so I'd like to keep the money if possible  :P

My courses are pretty much finalized now. I got to register on 4th year students' day, instead of 3rd. So did others, they must have messed up.

Here is the schedule:

First Semester

Wow. My Human Resource Management course has very diverse students.

Most of them are getting a certificate and are mature people that are already in the workforce. Some are students like me who are just taking an elective.

The other bunch is exchange students from Finland and Sweden.

I was amazed to see 4 exchange students from Europe. Didn't think that little old PEI would have so many in one course.

Well, I had the admission ritual yesterday on our university here in Bratislava. Most courses were full, so I had to choose Feministic ethics to have enough credits in first semester  ;D
