Spectral Paladin
A punter from Woking is picking up over 332,000 pounds thanks to Greece beating Portugal 1-0 in the Euro 2004 final. The backer had two bets at a William Hill shop -- 4,000 pounds when the Greeks were 50-1 on June 23 and 8,000 pounds five days later when they were 10-1.On Sunday afternoon with Greece on offer at 9-4 to beat the tournament hosts in the final he put down another 12,500 pounds."We believe the man is Greek, which isn't that surprising," said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe on Sunday.Greece were 80-1 outsiders when the tournament began and are now on offer at 33-1 for the 2006 World Cup. nampigai
well I didn't win that much, and I only played once, but the fact that I was laughed at all the way through made the victory the more sweeter, my friends were pissed.

Spectral Paladin
We were trying to warm the air after your cold jokes :P.Originally it was planned that the players would make a tour of triumph around the stadium on their arrival but there were so many people that there was no room for that :-. Ninja_Sher
Let it never be said again that Canadians don't enjoy Soccer. I was working, and knew the moment Greece had won. Car horns were going off all over the place, and tons of people had those little Greek flags you put on your car door.Gongratulations, Greece!Yes they kind of made up an artificial disaster, he he ;D . Congratulations to the Greeks anyway they have all the rights to celebrate anyways.
